Better Late than Never
1. You tell me that you feel you injured me greatly,
A long, long time ago,
And you are asking for my forgiveness.
2. Until now, I did not feel
That I have taken your injury to me
Very harshly on myself.
3. I hope that, at one point in my life,
I will recall this past event and feel
Very bitter and angry.
4. I also hope then, to remember that
You have already asked to be forgiven,
And it will be granted.
