Notes and tidbits posted on FB and Twitter. Part 103

Note 1: I take notes of books I read and comment on events and edit sentences that fit my style. The page is long and growing like crazy, and the sections I post contains months-old events that are worth refreshing your memory.

The club that refuses to take statistics performance fails in competitions, invariably

Dissatisfaction in your performance, based on a legitimate comparison, gives you insight on how to improve and motivates you to get better.

You can always find someone who is cuter, happier or richer than you. On what fuel is he running?

Here’s a keyboard, connected to the entire world. Here’s a publishing platform you can use to interact with just about anyone, just about any time, for free. You wanted a level playing field, one where you have just as good a shot as anyone else? Here it is. Do the work.

Does this theory stand the test?  “it is contact with real objects and the real world that is the foundation for acquiring knowledge.”

Have you ever heard of lingerie epaisse, non-sexy, non-chic, couleur suspecte ...?

“We got to intentionally be with people who are different from us. We’re going to have to join and take a seat at the table. We’re going to have to learn how to listen, have hard conversations, look for joy, share your pains and be more curious

Listen up. For this match of the game, my name is Adonis. After the game, you may forget my name. Let’s play as a team and win.

Many provinces in developed nations are demanding referendum for Independence. The Kurdish Barazani-type is off target. The tribal family of Barazani has no intent to lavish pride and dignity to the Kurds.

Competition is a signal that what you’re offering is Not crazy. Competition gives people reassurance. Jewelers, restaurants… gather together on same street.

Tu veux payer ta dette avant echeance? Tu as ete loin de l’ Amerique pendant longtemps .

Israel made a strategic error by publicly being recognized as the only State to support the Barazani tribe Kurdish referendum, with no tangible returns of any kinds. The Israelis in Kurdistan might become the prime target for assassination. (It failed and Barazani annulled it after Iraqi troops entered Karkouk)

If Turkey, Iran and Iraq decided Not to import anything from Kurdish Barazani tribe enclave, what kind of budget this province will have? Black Market exports, such as ISIS?

In the long run, we can work to change the circumstances that affect our projects. Today circumstances are perfect to start.

Funniest reflection: “The perception that the United States has acquiesced in the Israeli action to invade lebanon in 1982 will be seen as evidence of double standards when the administration is condemning the use of force to settle disputes in other parts of the world.”

US created ISIS in 2013 because Al Nousra in Idlib province was lenient with civilian activities, like women opening their own business to let the village survive and public radio for people to share ideas and discuss. Before many factions in Al Nusra emulated Daesh

Show up in the market and make some sales. Take a role as an intern and answer the customer service hotline for a day. Get as close as you can to the real thing, live it, taste it, and then decide how to build your career or your organization.

Every law, every reform idea has term Temporary attached to it. Meaning: Forget about carrying out even a medium-term project or reform. And nobody is fooled in Lebanon.
