An Anthem, a poem: Syria, peace be upon you
The Anthem of the Syrian National Social Party
This Anthem was written in 1935 by the founder Antoun Saadeh, a year before mandated France uncovered its secret organization
Zaki Nassif musically composed this anthem
Syria (Souria) peace be upon you (repeated twice)
Souria guiding nations to peace and knowledge
Souria we are ready to defend you (as martyrs)
We are a nation that cannot bend to the occupiers
Our Land is source of people seeking to uplift societies
Souria, everything in you is beautiful
Everything in you is generous
Your air is healthy and clean
Your people alive and great
Oh your high mountains are impregnable
Your souls rising high above death
A Renaissance that shook centuries of decadence and decrepitude
And cleared up accumulated lazy behaviors
A nation of complete certitude in its right to exist
And a life never to vanish again
Note 1: Compare this anthem of elevated spirit to all those bloody anthems, proclaiming the massacre of all, women, babies, children in the name of a mythical God, in the name of a pure race…
Note 2: Syrian National Social Party announced that the people in Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Syria and Iraq are One people and constitute one undivided Nation.
The Colonial powers (mainly England and France) made sure to divide this one people into pseudo-States, even before the end of WWI.
This secular party warned that the colonial powers were planning the implant of the colony of Israel in order to break the daily trade route and communication among the one people.
