on:Why One must say Yes to life and embrace it whenever it is found — and it is found in terrible places?
Why should we say Yes? Are we being born just to witness the terrible behaviors?
-David Bowie: I’ve got a library and I keep the ones I really like. I look around my library some nights and I do these terrible things to myself–
I count up the books and think, how long I might have to live and think, ‘Fuck, I can’t read two-thirds of these books.’ It overwhelms me with sadness.”
The Euphrates and the Tigris Rivers cross Syria and Iraq for thousands of miles since antiquity. Turkey decided to build many gigantic dams on the sources of these rivers (400 km from the borders) and claims that it own these rivers. and is the sole country to control the debits of these rivers.
The debits of the 2 rivers are decreasing dangerously, and if No resolutions to Turkey “occupation” of the water. the region between the 2 rivers will dry out.
What you “assimilate” is what nourish your conscious mind and body: food, books, listening…
I woke up from a nightmarish dream: In my dream, a good friend of mine asks me for a “check”. I suggest “would cash do it?”. I told him to passby next morning, and I started to recall where I could have hidden what we used to call “checkbook”. I am thinking that I used to “save” a blanck check in my wallet. I am fernzilly looking in my wallet where I did hide this blank check. And I woke up: It must have been a big stressful trauma, this looking around. Yes, once upon a time, I used to carry a checkbook, with my famous full name and address too, and I had a bank account
A new habit, which was in the coming. As I wake up to pay a visit to the WC, I warm some drinking water and serve myself a cupful. Usually, I re-integrate the bed and cuddle in: Breathing deeply and exhaling slowly, hanging a smile on my face. A way of welcoming the new day.
“The business of philosophy is to teach man to live in uncertainty…The business of philosophy is not to reassure people, but to upset them…?”
It is the contrary that is believed in:
Sciences should Not to be that confident in the results, and people believe that philosophy is providing the Certainty
Arthur Schopenhauer didn’t chew on his statement:
“Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.”
