“How do you feel?” (Jan. 30, 2010)

            A friend asked me one of his frequently mindless questions: “How do you feel?”  I said “I am feeling my shit sexy.” Usually, I say what I mean.  After my glamorous bowel movement, I had lunch and then had a long walk, and then I read and wrote and I still felt the effects of my bowel movement.  Three hours later, I am feeling this lovely pain in my guts; a sensation that I had emptied a huge load with the accompanying pressures on my mind. I had siesta and felt this sexy pain. Satisfying bowel movement is the greatest achievement among my daily tasks.

            My friend was appalled by my incomprehensible reply and said: “I was under the impression that you are totally broke to indulge in luxury.”  I like to invent new expressions and terminologies in English: I was not born and raised in an authentic English speaking country.  I was saved from memorizing and regurgitating boring idioms; I am not up-to-date on the latest slangs.  I have got to do with the classics; more so that I was never in linguistics, anthropology, or ethnology fields of study.

            It was during one of these sensational feelings that Barak Obama was elected President.  You might heave a sigh of dejection but it is not just a coincidence. I don’t like certified crazy Bush Junior, that President who never set foot on “foreign soils” before he was elected also “President”, though he enjoyed the same moments of sensation. If you do the probability math you might realize that the odds are actually pretty high for coincidence of shitting sensations and catastrophic events.  I can confirm that the odds were a certainty that Martin Luther King and Malcom X would be assassinated.

            What is this?  When I am ecstatic I cannot think; when I am morose I cannot think. I have to induce that I think when I am in a lukewarm temperament. Thus, “Not Thinking” and extreme mood zones are highly correlated; thinking and tasteless moods are thus pretty much independent: it is a firm deductive result; you might think, you might not think (same different), what you are thinking do not make sense, or your thinking can be revolutionary verging to lunacy.

            Just to tell you that physical exigency is a fundamental factor to your mental output. I sometimes wonder at critics psychoanalyzing authors by their books.  If critics are honest then they should comprehend a book was mostly “excreted” during lukewarm mood periods; thus, psychoanalysis is not valid in these cases: the author should be observed in “a not thinking” instances. Critics believe that authors basically lie down on comfortable coach, talk to themselves and record their babbling; critics get in the skin of relaxed a author who is figuring out that audiences have sworn the oath of confidentiality as his mental shrink.  I don’t usually go off on tangents but it feels good.

How to educate a prime idiot in less than six months? (Nov. 3, 2009)

The idiot Saad Hariri, designated to form a government in Lebanon, needs more time to be educated politically on the complex Lebanese political and social system.  Since 2005, after the assassination of Rafic Hariri, the Hariri clan was busy finding a successor to Rafic.  The eldest son declined a political career and opted for the thriving business part of the clan.  Saad was the second choice; he was totally apolitical and ignorant about Lebanon (he is Saudi by birth and citizenship) and had to be educated on Lebanon’s realities and social structures.

Since 2005, Saad has been a student in Lebanese politics and failed to graduate yet. He allowed Seniora PM to guide and manage the clan interests in Lebanon’s politics.  Seniora PM grabbed all sectors that generate money, which belonged to various ministries, under an umbrella of sectors attached to the Prime Minister.

Saad was given a failing cards two months after he was appointed to form a government in the June 2009 parliamentary election; he couldn’t even form a government though he had received 92 votes out of 124 deputies to facilitate his job.  Saad was asked again to form a government with only 72 votes the next time around.  So far, five months were not enough for Saad to grasp what to do next after being selected to form a government.  You might think that the task is obvious: just forming a stupid government.

No, idiot Saad wants to know how the government is to function after it is formed before he deigns to preside it.  Saad wants to know before hand how every problem is to be resolved without the need of 30 heads of ministers dialoguing and discussing problems plaguing Lebanon for over 6 months: Lebanon is currently a State running without a government and just taking care of daily routines with no decision power for serious events that are bound to wreck havoc on the Lebanese.

Saad wants to resolve the Hezbollah’s military dominance before forming a government, even though a Round Table of all the sectarian political parties was established two years ago to discuss this problem.  Saad would not relinquish the Treasury that has been controlled by his clan since 1993.  Sad is taking all his time forming a government simply because the Taef Constitution didn’t allocate a time restriction on forming governments.

The President of Lebanon, Michel Suleiman, would like us to believe that he is totally impotent to resolving this insane deadlock. So far, the President of the Republic is emulating US Barak Obama: all rhetoric and no actions.

How much longer Saad Harriri needs to be educate on Lebanese systems before another sectarian stupid government is to be born?

Law of silence: CIA; (Oct. 28, 2009)

On September 18, seven ex-CIA chiefs exhorted President Barak Obama to emulate former Presidents and cover up the serious infringements to laws and regulations.

The CIA and FBI during the two Bush Junior Administrations committed excesses by the operators in anti-terrorist interrogations; the CIA chiefs claim that opening public investigation may jeopardize State security.

 Brigadier General John Magruder has stated the objective of the CIA by 1947: “Clandestine operations constantly implicate infringement of internal laws and regulations. The Pentagon and the State Department cannot take risks for covering such operations.  A new service for clandestine actions has to take charge for covering up the official institutions.”

This statement is fundamentally the main reason for establishing the CIA: it was meant to execute unlawful orders and decisions taken by the Executive Administrations.

Allen Dulles, chief of the “Agency” from 1953 to 61, confirm the doctrine that the “CIA is to execute what the President authorizes it in the wide gamut of political assassinations and destabilization of countries. The CIA main job is to cover for the President; all plausible denials should be extended to cover the involvement of the President in the decision process.  Thus, the President can securely admit that he ignored any failed operations overseas.”

John Prados noted: “Thirty years ago the public perception of the CIA was of a lone and solitary elephant that escaped all kinds of control; that the CIA was running amuck with clandestine operations all over the world.  It is now clear that the Agency and its phalanges were just following presidential orders.  It is the Presidency that is the lone elephant because the Agency was not doing its publicly declared mission of providing intelligence to the President.  All the revealed documents show that Presidents had no intelligence of the imminent coming to power of Khomeini in Iran in 1979, the potential disintegration of the Soviet Union, or the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers.”

Gordon Thomas said: “The Agency never managed to implant a spy in the higher circles of the Soviet Union decision makers. Bill Casey just took the risk of misinforming Ronald Reagan and systematically overestimated whatever intelligence he had”

At every new Presidency, the CIA got worse in control and management: it was overwhelmed by paramilitary operations than doing intelligence gathering; intelligence was thus relegated to non-human operators of remote control data from satellites and computer processing of images.

 The newly sacked CIA chief Porter Goss pronounced an allocution at Tiffin University and gave a sound counsel to new recruits “Never admit, deny everything, and take the best strategy of launching counter accusations when targeted within the CIA and the political circles.”

 The engraved motto of the CIA at Langley is St. John pronouncement “And you will know truth and truth will set you free”.

Apparently, to setting you free to assassinate and get away with it; to lie on State interests and get away with it; to cover up Evil Presidents and Administrations who follow orders from lobbying powerful interest groups.

The US had agreed to finance the Nile dam during Nasser but reneged on the deal. It was learned later that the lobby of the cotton producers in the US South put the squeeze on the ground that Egypt would later compete with US cotton.  The Soviet Union was invited to Egypt and many other regions.

The CIA and FBI think that they can get away with a lot of crimes on the premise that the US citizen believes that intelligence gathering cannot be performed without breaking a couple of eggs in a democratic society in order to preserve citizen from further hardship and secure him more liberty.

It is becoming evident that the more power you let a government gets the less liberty you should expect.  If the last eight years did not exhibit this fact then do not blame anyone for further slavery and totalitarianism.

It is a good thing to have more than two superpowers: extreme fundamentalism (i.e., religious and liberal capitalism) would be checked, cultural life would rejuvenate and people would enjoy more opportunities and choices instead of a gigantic financial crisis and global mass ignorance floating all over our planet.

BANG, not the Big One: Tell me more; (October 23, 2009)

            Bits, atoms, neurons, and genes form the acronym BANG.  Several disciplines in chemistry, biology, molecular sciences, pharmacology, genetics, electronics, and physics have one thing in common: nano-particles; it opened wide a trillion dollars industries with no check and balance.  In 1960, many developed nations had surpluses of food stuff; this is no longer the case.  It is predicted that by 2017 famine will be the lot of 70 impoverished States harming 1.2 billion human.

            Actually, antitrust laws are so far not being applied to the six organically modified seeds industries that share scientific discoveries and have sole monopoly of 90% of organic seeds.  Monsano, Dow Agrosciences, BASF, Syngena, Bayer, and Dupont have deposited more than 500 patents on genes “adapting to climatic changes”; in another word, how to profit from degradation of the environment.  In 2008, Monsato has increased by 35% the prices on organically modified seeds that it has exclusive rights to produce and distribute. Monsano and Dow Agrosciences associated to produce in 2010 genetically modified wheat seeds that can withstand 8 kinds of “natural enemies”, mainly herbicides and insecticides; thus, 87% of modified seeds used around the world bear the label Monsano.

            The multinational oil companies of BP, Shell, Chevron, and Cargill are linking up with these nano-sciences of agro-technologies to transform biological matters such as (agricultural harvest, forests, algae…) into industrial sugar; then converting sugar into chemical products and nano-products with high added values. Chemistry linked to oil products could now be adapted to vegetable carbon.  Entire countries such as Madagascar and Angola are now being leased to cultivate modified breeds of harvests.

            The scientific counselor to Barak Obama, John Holdren, is encouraging the application of geo-engineering to fighting atmospheric changes.  Among such engineering techniques is sprinkling the atmosphere with nano-particles of sulfates to veil the sunrays.  Monster farms of phytoplankton are created to absorb or capture CO2.

            The UN views these geo-engineering projects as purely speculative in nature with unknown risks for collateral damages.  A joint Indo-German oceanographic Institute discarded the decision of the Conference of the UN and carried on its project: it “fertilized” a large zone in the Antarctic Ocean by dumping tons of iron sulfates; the microscopic unicellular algae were meant to grow in abundance and capture CO2.  The zooplankton ate the algae and the experiment was not conclusive; this temporary failure is encouraging other multinationals such as Climos Inc. or (Planktos Science) to resume these kinds of projects under the name of “eco-restoration” for substantial financial returns.

Note 1: 94% of US citizens have the toxic substance biphenyl (BPA) in their system.  This is due to the fact that baby milk bottles were manufactured since 1930 with this synthesized chemical product that proved to render plastic more malleable and supple. A substitute of this product, diethylstilbestrol, that has female sexual hormone characteristics, was widely prescribed to pregnant women in the 70’s with devastating consequences to malformed newborns.

Turkey is currently the main cornerstone regional power;

Erdogan next in line for Nobel Peace; (October 21, 2009)

            In December 18, 2004 I wrote “Turkey: A Regional Power in the Making “.  In February 4, 2009 I updated my article “A Regional Power out of hibernation in the Near East“.  Another update is required because Turkey seems to vigorously and quickly act everywhere.

Turkey forgot the Islamic world for over 60 years and relied on its military to impose a secular state and emulate the Western culture in alphabet and in dress codes. Ataturk wanted to shed the image of backward Ottoman Empire that lost an Empire extending from Hungry to Iraq to Arabic Peninsula, the Near East, Egypt and all Northern Africa.   The other Empire to the east was the Persian Safafid Dynasty that extended to Pakistan. The Safafid Empire was founded by another Turkish leader and opted to adopt the Chiaa Moslem sect as the religion of his Empire.

Turkey is part of NATO (this year is its turn to lead the NATO forces in Afghanistan) thanks to the cold war against the defunct neighbor of Soviet Union: Turkey was the main effective ally to the US in the region during the cold war. Turkey was denied full membership in the European Union because the same Soviet Union disintegrated into “independent States” recognized by the UN; France and Germany offered a rational for their refusal on ground of Turkey not satisfying the basic social and political requirement of a homogenous member.  For 60 years Turkey had turned its back to the Arab problems, and allied to the State of Israel and the Shah of Iran.

Things are changing fast after the horrors of Gaza and the tearing down of the mask of the Zionist ideology of terror, expansion, and apartheid.  Turkey was playing the fair mediator between Syria and Israel in order for the return of the occupied Syrian Golan Heights. Turkey was mediating between Israel and the Palestinians to render the life of the Palestinians under occupation more bearable during the peace negotiations for a separate Palestinian State.  Israel Olmert PM lied to the Turkish PM Erdogan before the barbaric re-incursion into Gaza.

Rajab Tayyeb Erdogan, Turkey’s PM is undeniably the most powerful leader criticizing the Zionist State for its genocide in Gaza. He canceled a joint military maneuver with the US and Israel. The US has nobody else to conduct military maneuvers but Israel in this region; the latest naval one is to last two weeks with objective to save Israel of mass missile attack!

Turkey, under Erdogan, is currently more powerful than the whole of Europe in the Near East for establishing peace, stability and equitable political resolutions.  Turkey is a self sufficient independent Nation and has ruled the whole Middle East for four centuries. Turkey has awakened from a long hibernation and decided to be a major regional power broker.

Turkey is demanding and acting as the main power broker in the Near East because it has interest in the stability of its south eastern borders with Syria, Iran, and Iraq.  So far, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq were peons for the larger policies of the US, Europe, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia in the Middle East.  Turkey’s current policies beg to differ: “no more war zones at my borders and in my back yards”.  The US and Israel must have understood the message clearly and loudly. The so-called “moderate” Arab States of Egypt and Saudi Arabia are cowering down and are taken by surprise to the emergence of the new revitalized Turkey siding with the underdogs.

We are not hearing anymore about the Turkish war on the Kurdish self-autonomous movement.  I wholeheartedly wish that negotiations are secretly and seriously underway with the Kurdish Workers’ Party for a peaceful resolution.  The Kurdish problem was used by the USA and Israel to blackmail Turkey.  I have a feeling that the Kurds in Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran appreciate the new directions of Erdogan’s government and would find in Erdogan a viable interlocutor and would cooperate with Turkey to lighten up this heavy burden of a useless and fruitless civil war. The new policy in Turkey is to open peaceful negotiations with the opposition Kurds; around 200 Kurdish leaders in the resistance movement have turned themselves in and all indicates that a resolution is palpable.

Turkey will be asked to exercise its beneficial influence in restoring peace, stability and economic prosperity in the region.  It will inevitably join the European Union with the unavoidable important changes that Turkey will have to accept and undergo in matters of democracy, liberty, human rights, social and economical constraints.

This transformation of a powerful neighbor will transcend into a drastic transformation of the societies surrounding Turkey. The benefits are already materializing in closer ties with Syria, pressures on Israel to agree on a Palestinian State, and greater normalization with Iran.  Turkey is obviously the main power that can provide autonomy to the Kurdish nationalism spreading among Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran. Turkey is the main power that can efficiently check US omnipotence in the Middle East and any resurgence of Russia militarism. Turkey prevented Bush Junior to invade Iraq through its territory; the US air base in Interlink was prohibited to launch air raids on Iraq.  I have great hope in this new power amongst us, especially that the current Turkish government has proven to be far sighted and confident in its power and role in this region.

For a couple of years after Europe shut off the door for Turkey entering the Union Turkey felt the need to crawl in a cave and hibernate; Turkey shook off its lethargic attitude and is now in the driving seat and operating a strategy that befits its power in the Middle East.  It has surmounted tough obstacles in economic difficulties, human rights issues that are frequently reemerging, and demonstrations that are occasionally broken by brute force. Turkey is no longer allowed to relax.  Turkey is quickly learning that it has to keep pace with the culture of Europe and to fight harder to catch up with lost time. Its dialogue with Syria has brought fruits: no visas are needed to cross joint borders, seasonal water resource shortages are frequently revised, and the western world had come to term that it can no longer circumvent Syria in this volatile region with Turkey’s backing.

Europe must be appreciating the decision of Turkey to play a major role in the Near East but the US is very wary because it refuses to share pre-eminence in the Middle East.  Turkey active diplomacy and clear policies should weight heavier in the decision process for joining the European Union.  The frustrations of Turkey with the EU must have given it a clear hint of what its policies should be based on and where its focus should be directed to.

            Turkey is the new pivotal power in the Middle East in the coming decades.  It is the cornerstone for new emerging Northern Middle East Block with Syria, Iraq, and Iran.  This strategic block in formation is inevitable after the US troops leave Iraq and would constitute the best guarantee for this volatile region to peace and security.

            Erdogan should have received the Nobel Award for Peace instead of Barak Obama who has no active records to show for earning this prize (Read my post “What that! Nobel Prize for Passivity?”  Erdogan has already executed peace treaties with his archenemies: Syria, Armenia, the Kurds, soon with Cyprus, and has definitely sided with the Palestinians against apartheid Israel.  Normally, Erdogan is in line for the peace prize. Judging from the trend, the cynical Nobel Committee never feels comfortable awarding Peace Prizes to Middle Eastern leaders unless it is shared with the devils such as Began and Shimon Peres. Erdogan got my highest prize and we all feel much more optimist in our future.

What that! Nobel Prize for Passivity? (October 17, 2009)

            A new Nobel Prize is created!  The criteria are no longer life-time award for active fight on famine, diseases, human rights, establishing international organizations for caring to the wounded fallen on battle fields (Red Cross), catering to the lowest castes of humanity, coming to the scour of human dignity buffeted and trampled by the blood sucking “mosquitoes”.  Nobel Peace Prize has changed criterion: it is awarded to new political leaders to encourage them to work toward peace; a sort of pre-emptive incentive hoping that the dangled “bait” might promote peace more effectively than waiting for actual deeds.

            What that? He is barely 9 months in office and nothing tangible to show and account for that he might be a potential “peace loving” leader.  Was Barak Obama awarded the most honored Peace prize for canceling the “offensive missile shield” in Europe simply because the US can no longer afford extra expenses and China refused to cough up the dough? Was Obama rewarded in exchange of Brazil being selected as the next soccer Olympic site?  Was Obama awarded this prestigious prize for voting NO to the discussion of the report on crimes against humanity committed in Gaza? Was Obama rewarded for increasing troops in Afghanistan (over 40,000 soldiers) since he came to power?  Was Obama rewarded this life-time achieving work for failing to put a hold on further Israeli expansion on lands not its own?

            Is the Nobel committee too lax and anxious to debase the value of Peace Prizes?  I sit lacking worthy nominees and opting for the last come first served candidates?

            What that?  How come the Peace Prize has become exclusively awarded to political leaders?  Why all these political leaders were selected from among those who signed “peace treaties” on the White House Lawn (blue, rose, green, I forgot, but never white) before waiting for the proper execution of the terms of the peace contracts?  Began and Sadate were awarded this prize and then Begin started his pre-emptive war on Lebanon in 1982 and Sadate encouraged the civil war in Lebanon to go on indefinitely. Arafat and Rabin were awarded the same prize and then all the peace process terms were freezed and canceled by successive Israeli leaders.

            The Norwegian Nobel committee, used to award “Peace Prizes” for personalities who contributed greatly to communicating the spirit of peace and actively working toward instituting peace around the world and in their communities; the decisions have been politicizing: they contributed to lavishing this prize to totally undeserving individuals of war criminals and criminals against humanity. The latest of awardees is Israel President Simon Perez who said lately: “Israel can protect its babies against Gaza babies” and who participated in the decision making to perpetrate genocide on the Palestinian civilians in Gaza and shelled the UN peace keeping forces in Qana Lebanon in 1986 killing 120 civilians and double in severe casualties.  Many deserving Nobel Peace Prize awardees signed a petition saying that they feel ashamed that Peres was awarded such an honorable prize.

            The Norwegian committee has awarded this prize to Kissinger, the US Secretary of State under Nixon who prosecuted the Viet Nam war until it was a losing case; Kissinger is the one who planned and prosecuted the Lebanese civil war in conjunction with Sadate of Egypt.

            What that? Any President to the US after Bush Junior could have gotten this award!  Should this prize be extended to the American people simply because they got tired of all the Bush Junior Administration nonsense and for witnessing the worst world financial crash?

            I suggest that the Nobel Peace Prize be split into two prizes: the life-time social activists for human peace and the most passive political leader who refrained from interfering in other states affairs. It is the responsibly of the Norwegian government or its Parliament to strip the names of those who won these prizes and then proven to be undeserving from the list of this Hall of Fame or we will label this list the Hall of Shame!

Note: Read my previous post “No mas for Nobel Peace prizes” published on January 15, 2009.

Copenhagen: where climate freezes; (October 9, 2009)

December is soon; this month disappeared for eight long years.

Freezing Copenhagen, will welcome Barak Obama this December

Trailed by hundred of representatives from the world States

To meet and discuss of global climate problems

Environmental deterioration, changes, and cataclysmic consequences,

To extending global resolutions.

I don’t mind cold climate in the cold season:

I cannot get used to freezing weather at any season;

Beast digging in to hibernate;

I cannot get used to Nordic people

Stubborn in their craziness,

Calling it home.

Finally, the financial crash deposed the latest of the Bushes;

Hoping to be the last in that dynasty.

Man awoke to the magnitude of the disaster.

The optimist Biosphere/Earth has its own stabilizing mechanism;

It is indifferent to power-avid pessimist man.

This unattached mechanism may burn, suffocate, or drown man

And it would not even notice or care for its existence.

It dawned on Man that, through the ages,

Earth/biosphere underwent changes

And man either thrived, developed, or died

Consequent to the environmental changes.

All the time, man got curious about his environment;

He wanted to understand and then uncover the mysteries

Of that power surrounding him and controlling his life cycle.

By the by, man formulated general laws of nature.

And before he could fathom a tiny portion of the complex mysteries,

Of these multiple interactions among the sparse and conditioned laws,

This impatient and anxious man endeavored to modify and transform nature

To his own wants and restricted interests.

Man wants to alter earth and the biosphere

With the tacit understanding that he will not be affected.

Man keeps forgetting, intentionally,

That he is what he is because of earth and biosphere.

Man can alter earth and biosphere;

Biosphere will, imperturbably, react at its own pace;

Man can waste water; water does not care one way or the other;

Water can float and disintegrate into its other gaseous elements

And it wouldn’t care for its consequences to this wretched man.

Is it too late to coax nature to reverse its course?

Is it too late for the offspring of today

To degenerate in monsters of tomorrow?

If monsters are permitted to exist make it quick!

Do nothing at all.

For when is Barak Obama to settle on a clear perspective? (September 23, 2009)

            So far the Obama Administration is sending the strong signal that it is drifting with no mooring programs or plans for the mid-term perspective. The Democratic Party has won the election but it has been continuing and executing the neo-conservative Republican Party programs and plans decided upon before the election.

            The main promise of health care reform is at a standoff and blocked. The only default decision was to scrap the installation of ballistic missiles along the borders with Russia for lack of funding. A few restrictive laws on banking were added with a clause not to be enforced for at least two years for lack of manpower and adequate budget. Everything else is going as if nothing happened since the financial crash; as if no new election was done. The decision to close Guantanamo prison was taken in the previous administration; so was the exit plan for the retreat of the troops from Iraq.

            The short-term deal with China is that everything is to resume as before for three years until both nations clean houses. Military activities have been resuming in Afghanistan and Pakistan with increased numbers of troops for a lost cause on the field. George Mitchell has been dispatched to the Near East to arrange the creation of a Palestinian State; so far, it seems that Mitchell peregrinations are meant to last two years because the Obama Administration is still trying to untangle the purposes of the Greater Middle East Plan that did not exist in the first place: there was no plan; period. Iraq is as bad as in the worst years and its President Maliki wants also to anger Syria and stop normal diplomatic arrangements.

            After 9/11, 2001, the “prestige” of the USA was attacked. The Bush Junior Administration of neo-conservative was not prepared for this kind of cataclysm; it was taking a long vacation from urgent world environmental degradation decisions. The American people demanded swift responses commensurate to the US baffled image of the only remaining superpower. The government had no ready alternatives but to dig up war plans in their last phases of simulations; it selected the war plans targeting the Middle East simply because Bush hastily blamed Islam for the attack. The public was ready to accept any enemy target; if Islam is the terrorist culprit then lets annihilate Al Qaeda promptly and not worry about collateral casualties.

            Invading poor and tribal Afghanistan had nothing of a Hollywood action movie; the public wanted a war with a tad bit of complexity and difficulty that correspond to the “power” of the USA. Invading Iraq was perfect in feasibility, natural resources, and a hated dictator that can arrange the desires of the American public. Pre-emptive war it was; the hell with the United Nations resolutions. Did we hear that most of Europe is against this transgression?  Then Europe is an old fart.

            As so many institutions and private intellectuals analyzed the goal of this pre-emptive war so did I.  To my amazement I figured out that there was no plan at all. The Bush Administration went to war and then waited for the analyses to converge. From the many titles they adored “The Greater Middle East Plan”. They just relied on this catchy title and filed the void with general abstract notions of democracy, liberty, free trade, and war against the satanic terrorists.  Ariel Sharon wanted his own wars against terrorism then no problems; Sharon and his successors got all the green lights they wanted and promptly; they built the Wall of Shame; they destroyed entire Palestinian refugee camps; they erased Gaza from the map; they jailed 12,000 civilian Palestinians with no legal cases or due procedures, and they invaded Lebanon in July 2006.  Israel asked for a cease fire after the third day but Bush wanted this war to resume for another 30 days. Lady Condo landed in Lebanon and farted “The Greater Middle East is now in a pregnancy period; the Lebanese have to suffer for the greater world benefit”.

            After many years of wars and conflicts in the Middle East the White House thought that he got down a coherent plan of why this war was pre-empted.  Everything was micromanaged for “coherence” sake and not for rational purposes. Many lucky activities that had god potentials were sacrificed for “coherence” image of a plan that never existed in the first place.

            The devastating hurricane lasted 7 years with a new term extended to the president who initiated it and had no idea why he did it and what to do next. The American public woke up at a strange scene of chaos and disintegration. The military lost moral and was committing suicide at an accelerate rate, the economy was not productive, the financial crash demolished the remnant ideology of liberal capitalism, employment rates were skyrocketing, and wars were still going on strong in many fields of operations. The Republican Party had nothing to offer in its campaign but empty patriotic slogans that made every citizen puke.

            There was a white ghost in the White House; it was replaced by a colored one. While canvassing the world with rhetoric that pleases everyone Obama is still in the stage of comprehending the problems he inherited. Meanwhile, the world community is groveling in the delusion that the US can participate in the resolution of world problems. The best for Europe, China, and Russia is to start leading the world and let the US rest and keep away from world problems or any kinds of interventions.  The US of both parties can no longer suffer to handle even its own mess. The enlightenment has fled the USA and its decision process needs to navigate the endless labyrinth of bureaucratic caves and tunnels.

            We have got no time to put our good eggs for hatching with a foolish headless hen.

War by the end of September; bi-weekly report #29; (August 25, 2009)

            President Barak Obama of the USA is slipping toward another war.  The health insurance empire lobbying is setting up a nasty trap to the “President” to discredit his leadership. Obama has shown so far that he is intent on unifying the two main political parties on critical decisions for the interest of the people but he failed to prove leadership.  Since his inauguration, Obama has been all rhetoric and promises but nothing materialized on the ground as a decision maker.

            The insurance business has already sunk Obama in Afghanistan and Pakistan with no prospects for any peaceful resolutions and now they want Obama to rekindle another of the unending Near Eastern wars.  Obama is being talked of agreeing to a “very limited and localized war” in south Lebanon to destroy the long range missiles of Hezbollah in order to “propulse the peace process” and giving George Mitchell more leverage in his “peaceful” mission.  The insurance business is also enlarging their trap by dangling the prospect of weakening Iran on the periphery of her sphere of influence.

            Maybe Obama is no different than Amir Peres, the former Israeli defense minister who wore his war goggles the wrong side, but we hope that Obama will not fall into this trap of “limited and localized” surgical war; or that war of any size or shape can resolve problems that he has failed to decide on and shown that he is leadership material.

            The only credit that Obama enjoys in the Arab World is the belief of the Arab masses that Obama means good.  Any war would, however “limited”, dissipate Arab people confidence in Obama; he will be cornered as another US President totally biased to the Zionist interests.  No Arab masses confidence no peace process; and George Mitchell will be wasting his time moving his ass in this region: he would have lapidated any credit invested on his good will and efforts.

            Lebanon has no government for over 60 days.  The problem is not internal; foreign decisions to postponing a unity government means that another Israeli war is in preparation within a Lebanese governing vacuum.  Most probably no army land incursions are in the planning but drastic and surgical changes in Lebanon’s political structure will be the results of this coming war.

            Hezbollah is focusing on its internal reorganization and testing the endurance of its mass bases for obeying orders of limited responses to Israel’s air attacks. It would be shameful if Syria is engulfed in these war planning.  The postponement of forming a government is sending too many conflicting forecasts on the real purpose of driving Lebanon to a political vacuum.
