افتراءات سامي كليب على حزب الله

في مقالته المنشورة على موقع «خمس نجوم» بعنوان «لبنان: تدمير ممنهج ووهم انتظار بايدن»، عمد الصحافي اللبناني سامي كليب إلى ربط أحداث عالمية بالتطورات على الساحة الداخليّة، بطريقة انتقائية واعتباطية، محملاً حزب الله مسؤولية ما حصل ويحصل في لبنان.
يقول الكاتب:
«قاتل حزب الله عشر سنوات على أرضٍ غير أرضه في سوريا، ورفع مستوى تدريبه القتالي، وحصل على أسلحة استراتيجية، صار المُهدّد الفعلي لإسرائيل، وصار أيضاً رأس حربة إيران في المنطقة، يعادي من تعاديه ويصادق من تصادقه، فتوسّعت رقعة شقاقه مع دول عربية عديدة.
من سيقبل بهذا الواقع؟»
يُظهر هذا المقطع سرداً لتسلسل الأحداث يجافي «الواقع» على عدد من الأصعدة:
أولاً، قلْب الأسباب إلى نتائج. فحزب الله ليس «المهدّد الفعلي لإسرائيل»، بل العكس تماماً، إسرائيل هي
المهدّد ليس فقط لحزب الله، بل لجميع دول «سوراقيا»، وذلك منذ قرار وعد بلفور بإنشائها عام 1917. لم تخفِ الحركة الصهيونية، آنذاك، مشاريعها بالاستيلاء على منطقة الهلال الخصيب بأجمعها، في ما أسمته «إسرائيل الكبرى»، وهذا واضح في رسائل حاييم وايزمان إلى رؤساء الدول الغربية لمن قرأ الثلاثة وعشرين مجلّداً التي تحتوي على آرائه وأعماله.
لا تمانع إسرائيل بإقامة علاقات طبيعية مع دول الخليج أو شمال أفريقيا، لأنّ لا مطامع لإسرائيل في هذه الدول، لكنّ الوضع مغاير تماماً في ما يختصّ بنا. هي تريد الأرض، والماء والبحر، ولا تخفي ذلك، وما الصراع الأخير حول النفط إلّا عيّنة من مسار طويل من الحروب، والقتل وهدر طاقات لبنان ودول «سوراقيا».
لذلك، حزب الله هو النتيجة وليس السبب. هو المدافع عن هذه الأرض وليس المهاجم.
ثانياً، إدراج مقولة إنّ «حزب الله قاتل على أرض غير أرضه» هي مقولة فيها الكثير من المجافاة لواقع تقسيمات «سايكس – بيكو» الملائمة لإسرائيل وللغرب، لأنّ عنوانها الكبير هو «فرّق تسُد»، والكاتب في موقفه هذا يوافق على التقسيمات التي فرضها الغرب بالقوة العسكرية على المنطقة مع نهاية الحرب العالمية الأولى،
ويعتبر أن لا علاقة بين سوريا ولبنان بأكثر ممّا هي علاقتهما بإسرائيل!
إنّ كلّاً من لبنان وسوريا مهدّدان يومياً من قبل إسرائيل، لأنّ هذه الأخيرة تريد أرضهما، فهي استولت على الجولان ولا تريد إعادته، وقبعت في جنوب لبنان عشرين عاماً ولم تخرج إلّا نتيجة المقاومة المسلّحة التي آزرتها سوريا، لأنّ أيّ دخول لإسرائيل إلى لبنان يعني بالضرورة تهديداً لسوريا، فإذا سقط لبنان، سقطت سوريا، والعكس صحيح أيضاً.

ثالثاً، يعي الغرب تماماً ترابط دول الهلال الخصيب تاريخياً، واقتصادياً واجتماعياً. لذلك، يعمد إلى فصل بعضها عن البعض الآخر، وإذكاء نار الحقد والخصومة بينها، كالقول إنّ لبنان يدفع ثمن التدخّل السوري، بينما الحقيقة هي أنّ هاتين الدولتين تقومان بالدفاع عن نفسيهما أمام الهجمة الإسرائيلية الآن، وأكثر من أيّ وقت مضى، لأنّ الولايات المتحدة الأميركية تريد تخصيص إمكاناتها لمواجهة الصين.
تدرك الولايات المتحدة الأميركية أنّ هذه المنطقة تمثّل وحدة جغرافية استراتيجية شاءت أم أبت، والبرهان على
ذلك أنّها حين احتلّت العراق عام 2003، كانت تعرف تماماً أنّ ذلك يعني سقوط سوريا ولبنان. لذلك، سارع كولين باول، وزير خارجيّتها آنذاك، إلى زيارة الرئيس السوري وتهديده بتدمير سوريا إذا لم تهادن إسرائيل. فالتوازن بين القوى الذي استطاع الرئيس حافظ الأسد المحافظة عليه، لم يعد ممكناً بعد انهيار الاتحاد السوفياتي، واتُّخذ القرار في الولايات المتحدة الأميركية باجتياح دول سوراقيا، منذ عام 1996 (راجع The Clean The Clean Break). لم تكن أحداث الحادي عشر من أيلول / سبتمبر إلّا الحجّة المناسبة للقيام بذلك، بالرغم من أن لا علاقة للعراق بهذه الأحداث،
لكن الإعلام الأميركي قوي لدرجة أنّه استطاع أن يحوّر الوقائع، وينشر الأكاذيب فيصدّقها القارئ؛ فادّعى كولن باول في اجتماع للأمم المتحدة بأنّ العراق يحتوي على أسلحة دمار شامل، وأرفق طوني بلير هذه الكذبة بأنّ الصواريخ المدمّرة ستطاول بريطانيا خلال أقل من ساعة.
رابعاً، احتلال القوات الأميركية للعراق يمثّل تهديداً وجودياً لإيران. ووجود محور المقاومة ليس بأكثر من تعاضد دول المنطقة وحراكها الشعبي ضد الاحتلال الصهيوني والأميركي معاً، فحتّى حرب صدّام حسين ضد إيران كانت لمصلحة الولايات المتحدة الأميركية، وحين انتهى دور الرئيس العراقي بادرت أميركا ليس فقط إلى تصفيته بل إلى تدمير العراق. لذلك، القول بأنّ حزب الله صار «رأس حربة إيران» هو قول يجافي الحقيقة، فهذا محور متكامل يدافع عن أرضه ووجوده، وكما يقول المثل: «في الاتحاد قوة».
خامساً وأخيراً، إنّ تدمير لبنان ليس بسبب وجود حزب الله كما يقول سامي كليب، وليس بسبب إيران، بل لأنّ علّة وجوده قد انتفت! ولقد كتبت حول هذا الموضوع في مقالة ستنشرها جريدة «الأخبار» عنوانها: «دولة لبنان الكبير: بدايته ونهايته».
لقد اخترع سايكس وبيكو لبنان كمنطقة مسيحية عازلة بين «دولة يهودية» ودول عربية «إسلامية»، وذلك حماية لإسرائيل. لكن، ومع فتح العلاقات الطبيعية والعلنية بين بعض دول الخليج «الإسلامية» وإسرائيل، انتفى دور لبنان المنطقة العازلة، لا بل أصبح عائقاً بفضل مقاومته. هدف تدمير لبنان إلحاقه بإسرائيل، فهل هذا ما يريده الكاتب؟

I Have Outlived My Country
I was born in the spring of 1939. I was a few days shy of 5 months old when Germany invaded Poland on September 1. The British and French governments responded to the invasion by declaring war on Germany, thus initiating World War II.
Germany always gets the blame.
Germany’s invasion of Poland is always said to be the event that triggered World War II, but never that the British and French declared war on Germany. This is because the victors write the history.
The British, French, and Americans were victors only because the Soviet Red Army defeated the Wehrmacht, possibly the finest army ever in existence.
The Soviets prevailed through sheer numbers and in weapons production capability far beyond Germany’s capability.
After reading Viktor Suvorov book, The Real Culprit, I don’t believe Stalin had any need of war supplies from the West.
The Normandy invasion did not take place until June 6, 1944, after the Red Army had been fighting the Wehrmacht for three years since June 1941.
Hitler was putting Germany back together from its dismemberment by the Versailles Treaty.
Only the German people and territory under Polish rule remained to be returned. For reasons that make no sense, the British government interfered in the German-Polish negotiations and caused the Polish military government to break off the negotiations.
The result was the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact that divided Poland between Germany and the Soviet Union. Hitler had a claim to German territory. The Soviets had no claim to the Polish territory seized by the Red Army, but the British and French limited their objection to the invasion of Poland by Germany.
It was the mindless British “guarantee” to Poland that caused World War II. In its absence the Polish government would have come to terms with Germany.
Hitler did not want war with Britain and France, much less with the US. These were events forced on Germany. After the swift German defeat of the British and French armies, Hitler offered Britain peace with German military guarantees to protect the British Empire, but Churchill kept the peace offer secret and refused.
Churchill continued to refuse German offers of peace, and some historians concluded that the reason Hitler attacked the Soviet Union was because of Hitler’s belief that Churchill was holding out with the expectation that Russia would come into the war on the British and French side.
Therefore, Hitler decided that he would remove that British hope by overrunning Russia.
Suvorov says Hitler knew that Stalin was about to attack Germany, but David Irving’s histories have not uncovered evidence to support Suvorov’s claim that Hitler knew of a planned Soviet attack. Neither side seemed to know of the other side’s intention.
Had it not been for an early Russian winter, Hitler might have succeeded in knocking out the Soviet Union. The early winter stopped the German advance and gave the Red Army time to recover and organize.
I am writing this as background to the world I grew up in.
World War II did not harm the US. It did America well. The war brought the US out of the decade-long economic depression and left the US as the world power with the reserve currency.
US military deaths from both fronts—Japan and Germany—totalled 416,000, a number almost matched by Britain, a much smaller country and population, and exceeded by tiny Yugoslavia with 446,000 military deaths.
In contrast, German military deaths totaled 4,300,000 plus an underestimate of 500,000 civilian war deaths from the British and American policy of targeting German civilian populations with bombing raids on residential areas.
The defeat of Germany was achieved by the Soviet Union with a minimum of 10,000,000 military deaths and between 24,000,000 and 26,000,000 civilian and military deaths.
I grew up in halcyon days in Atlanta. In those days a person did not have to be brilliant or have ruling class connections in order to succeed. This fact seperated America from the rest of the world in popular opinion. Americans lived in a land of opportunity. And it was true, not make believe.
In Atlanta, Georgia, 5-year olds could walk alone or with neighborhood classmates a mile to school and a mile to home without being molested or kidnapped.
Boys could have fights on the playground without being arrested. Parents together with teachers dealt with problems, which were few. Teachers were outstanding.
There was no such thing as education degrees. Teachers had degrees in English or other languages, mathematics, chemistry, physics, history. They were people who loved their subjects and conveyed that to students.
Misbehavior, which was rare, was dealt with a note home that had to be signed by a parent and returned the next day. The last thing any of us wanted was a note home. There was no CPS we could call to complain of being punished for our misdeeds.
We got along well with black Americans. They were part of even lower middle class white households.
In those days labor saving machines were unknown. Clothes were washed by hand and hung on clothes lines to dry. Meals were cooked from scratch with real ingredients.
If mother was not present, Carrie (black home servant) was the boss, not us “white privileged.” Carrie dined with us at the table, and if Carrie encountered a financial problem she couldn’t handle, my parents and her other day employers would pool our scant resources to help her.
I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, with no fear or hatred of black Americans. This is no longer the case in Atlanta. Many white Atlantans are fleeing the city.
It is not only the relations between the races that have deteriorated. Everything has.
America today bears no relationship to the American world that I grew up in.
Of course, today the reply will be that I grew up in “white privilege.” But actually, I grew up in a community in which people and genders had different roles, and a person was judged by performance. Performance included moral behavior. If you were a moral person who did a good job and your word was true, you were respected. Period.
Today if you aren’t a “woke” person who objects to gender pronouns and you don’t believe that the white working class are “systemic racists,” you are deplatformed and cancelled.
White people are now demonized by other white people, and the demonized are not permitted to object. Any “person of color” can destroy any boss, fellow employee, university professor or dean by claiming to be “offended.”
In America today there are very few free people. Only those not dependent on employment and media approval are free.
Even the few free Americans are in jeopardy as the expression of dissent is being defined by the Biden regime as domestic terrorism. (Are you a believer in the Prophet Donald Trump?)
The media speaks with one voice, and the voice is one of denunciation of all who challenge the ruling narratives. (It has been this way since Nixon)
In America today, media protect the mistakes and avariciousness of medical bureaucrats allied with Big Pharma, and the media shield Establishment narratives from scientific experts who are silenced by being denied a forum.
Consequently, the public is informed only by self-serving propaganda that enriches material interests and increases government power over citizens.
The consequences are varied and disastrous. With Covid there have been needless lockdowns that have destroyed businesses and individuals. (Too general. Got to develop on that issue)
In foreign policy, antagonisms have been created that could lead to disastrous wars with Iran, China, and Russia. The focus of the Biden regime on defining Trump supporters, all 90 million American voters, as domestic terrorists implies a civil war. (Sanctions on entire people are still in place, and Biden talks but does Not deliver on removing sanctions)
What I find most discouraging about America is that after all the proven deceptions Americans have endured—the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the assassination of Robert Kennedy, the assassination of Martin Luther King, the assassination of foreign leaders who refused to toe Washington’ line, the Vietnam War, 9/11, Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass deception, Assad use of chemical weapons, Iranian nukes, Russiagate, Russian invasion of Ukraine, the 2020 election, Trump insurrection at the Capitol…
The list goes on forever and (Not listing all the pre-emptive wars and countless military coups on undervelopped new States…)— And Americans continue to sit in front of CNN and the rest, listen to NPR, and read the New York Times or Washington Post…
And continue to accommodate the ruling Establishment by consenting to being brainwashed. (That was the trend for decades, especially in US total support of Israel racist and apartheid policies and demonizing the Middle-East people)
A people this insouciant has no possibility of survival.
A bainwashed America, a brainwashed Western World, are not homes for freedom.
On this website, I attempt to make you aware.
In contrast to the media, I give you good information about the subjects I explain. Go back and compare what I told you compared with what the media told you.
Consider, for example, my Covid reporting. I told you how to protect yourself. I told you what the cures are if you are infected with a serious case. I told you the masks are not protective unless they are rated N95.
This is valuable information. This website is valuable for everyone. Every person on earth is unique.
We should respect everyone until they give us reason not to respect them. The people in Western governments seem to be the least respectable. They lie the most, and the presstitutes cover for them. Only those who speak truth are attacked.
Think about your sources of information. I mean real information, not that which agrees with your biases. Do you have better sources than this website?
Does it keep you informed? Does it make you think?
Note 1: Stalin did Not reduced drastically the ever increased demand of Nazi Germany for oil and gas. Russia and the US were the main importers of Germany goods. Hitler could have delayed another 6 months his invasion and destroyed all of England airports and seaports and forced Churchill to howl Uncle. Launching 2 wars in the same time has never been a good strategic decision.
Note 2: It was England that prompted WWI because Germany was the second trade giant behind the USA and its navy was at a par with British marine fleet.

Bi-Weekly Report (#24) on the Middle East and Lebanon (May 28, 2009)
The weekly French “Courrier International” failed to do its job on analyzing Syria’s policies.
Instead of investigating and doing leg works it opted to rely on the Washington Post and Now Lebanon, totally biased against anything related to Syria, for spreading its nonsense.
This weekly publishing is repeating the old regurgitated stories of what the successive US Administrations want from Syria with respect to facilitating the job of US military presence in Iraq.
As usual, the catchy “Damascus does Not get it” and “Could we have confidence in President Bashar Assad? ” summarizes the topic. As if the job and responsibilities of President Assad is to cajole and obey the US dicta for nothing in return, such as the Golan Heights that was captured by Israel since 1973.
The Washington Post and supposed “reporter” Karen De Young would like us to believe that the increase of “terrorist activities” in Iraq and in Mossoul last month can be linked to the laxity of Syria’s border patrols.
It seems that Al Qaeda has been active shipping “martyr terrorists” from northern African Arab States and Saudi Kingdom to blow up Iraq Shia sect citizens.
What about the other sects, such as the minority Christian sects?
The report stated that the Iraqi border patrols cannot do effectively their jobs because of lack of carburant. The Iraqi government has a depleted budget because of low oil prices on the international market and thus the border patrols drive along the vast borders with Syria, 15 days out of 30. Thus, Syria is to be blamed for the US insufficient funding for borders control.
The monthly “Le Monde Diplomatique” did its job concerning Albania and Kosovo. The US Administration is pushing to finish quickly the fast highway linking Pristina (the Capital of Kosovo) to the Adriatic Sea at the Albanian seaport of Durres.
Apparently, the NATO (OTAN) needs this strategic highway so that the 5th fleet could discharge military hardware and soldiers.
Close to the highway in Kosovo there is the largest US Camp Bondsteel military base by the town of Urosevac.
Close to the highway in the town of Kukes in Albania the US has finished a functional airport used by military cargo and denied access to civilian use and at the expense of the Albanian tax payers.
The story boils down to a Greek bank Alpha lent the Albanian government 300 millions Euros (guaranteed by the US) to build the super highway. The trick is that 65% of the Albanian budget is reserved for the infrastructure ministry and 75% of the budget of this ministry is allocated to this super highway, which means about 50% of the total budget of the ministry is allocated to this highway, just to satisfy US military logistics.
The bombshell is that the US Bechtel multinational will reap 44% profit on the cost of this super highway.
The newly “independent” States of Kosovo, Montenegro, and Macedonia are quickly becoming the dumping ground for the NATO and the European Union economic, military, and environmental policies.
I watched the highly informative interview of retired General Jamil Al Sayyed with Maggie Farah on the OTV channel. Jameel Al Sayyed was released recently from 4 years of detention with No formal court cases after the International Tribunal judged his imprisonment illegal and ordered him out, along with 3 other security high level officers.
General Al Sayyed returned two day ago from France after resuming his depositions on Millis’ fabricated climate for Al Sayyed unjustified detention. Millis is the former investigator to the assassination of Rafic Hariri) and Johnny Abdou, former retired Lebanon military intelligence chief, participated in that fabricated story.
Al Sayyed will also work out the courts in Germany with respect to Millis. Al Sayyed is a highly interesting character and a well spoken intelligent and honest personality.
Al Sayyed said that it was the Lebanese officials who drew the Syrian counterparts into suspect transactions and corruptions. Although every political leader in Lebanon has dealing with foreign States, Al Sayyed lambasted Saad Hariri and Samir Geagea for their incapacity in using proper “valves” that can shut down foreign interests into destabilizing Lebanon.
The German daily Der Spiegel reported excerpts from internet blogs posted by Syrian dissidents six months ago claiming that a special team of Hezbollah masterminded the assassination of late Lebanon Rafic Hariri PM.
The timing of that report, which the International Tribunal denied any knowledge, was evidence that the real perpetrators were scared shit of the victory of the opposition in Lebanon at the next Parliamentary election on June 7. It meant that the opposition is not about to let the assassination case linger any longer and will pursue its own investigation or force the International Tribunal to move swiftly and close the doors to further political manipulations of that case.
What exacerbated the political climate is that Lebanon has started dismantling systematically Israel’s spy webs and dangerous intelligence pieces are accumulating relative to Israel involvement in many of the string of assassination cases in Lebanon since the murder of Rafic Hariri.in 2005.
The US Vice President Biden visited Lebanon for 6 hours before the publishing of the report and met with the leaders of the government alliances. Lebanon has to expect the worst every time a US official pay us visit to give orders that Lebanon cannot satisfy.
Thanks to Walid Jumblatt, one of the principal allies to the government, he quickly and adamantly lambasted this chimerical and fabricated report and proclaimed that the report was intended to draw Lebanon into another civil war between the Shia and the Sunni Muslim sects.
Saad Hariri (leader of the Future movement) and Seniora PM were forced into suspect silence; proof that they were aware of the plan that backfired on them, a plan that is backed by Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Israel, and the USA.
“We read and rebut their vile crap so you won’t have to!”
What a difference a day can make in Idiot America, eh?
Only a little more than one day ago, the entire Judenpresse Armada was blasting holes in the hull of the USS Trump.
His debate performance was a “national embarrassment,” (they) screamed. He refuses to denounce “White Supremacists, ™” (they) wailed.
He’s responsible for the deaths of over 200,000 Americans, they libeled. The blistering broadsides got so hot that even a number of ostensibly pro-Trump Republican Senators (Mitch McConnell, Tim Scott, Lindsey Graham et al) — when pressed by the Marxist media — quickly wet their pants and dutifully distanced themselves from the pro-Trump “Proud Boys.”
Their implied mild criticism of Trump eventually compelled the President himself to condemn “White Supremacism ™.”
Smelling blood in the water, the Deep State – Democrat complex grew bolder by the hour. Demands for adding a debate microphone mute button (aimed at taming Trump) saturated the news. (here)
The fake Stupid-19 “second wave” scare was being hyped (here) — timed, of course, for the coming election — the implication being that it was Trump’s failure.
Incoming fire was also directed at First Lady Melania Trump — in the form of a just-released audio tape of her dropping “the F word” over her frustration with being relegated to White House Christmas decorator while her efforts to help refugees were ignored by the media. (here)
And when even the generally objective Rasmussen Poll showed that a few percentage points of the dumb-as-dirt normies of the mushy malleable middle were starting to pull away from Trump — it became clear that Election 2020 was by no means a re-election lock for him.
The closing days of September and early October were not good for Team Trump.
And now, in a Covid minute — the big guns of the Piranha Press have fallen silent while Trump regroups. How convenient.
The big guns of the Judenpresse Armada have temporarily ceased firing as the subject instantly changes to Trump’s sudden “illness.”
We have mixed feelings about this.
On the one hand, The Trumps’ sudden “illness” can only add credibility to an illusion that at The Anti-New York Times have worked so hard to shatter — at the cost of having our prior website pulled down by European authorities due to “Covid disinformation (hosting company was based in Holland).
But then again, there’s that age-old ethical question about “ends justifying the means.”
We are, after all, at war with dirty, lying, thieving, mass-murdering, child raping, Globalist scum here. Is it wrong to hoist them on their own petard (blow them up with their own bomb?)
So entrenched is the Stupid-19 hoax, that no major media outlet or prominent Demonrat would dare to put forth a “conspiracy theory” ™ suggesting that the Trumps are faking it.

Biden Pulling All Negative Ads
“A Biden campaign official confirmed to NBC News that the campaign is pulling all of its negative advertising from their rotation of paid media. The news comes as the president is transported to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center as a precautionary measure.”
Communist film-maker Michael Moore does not have the limitations that journalists and politicians do. He spoke freely:
“Democrats, liberals, the media and others have always been wrong to simply treat him as a buffoon and a dummy and a jackass.
Yes, he is all those things. But he’s also canny. He’s clever. He outfoxed Comey. He outfoxed Mueller. He outfoxed 20 Republicans in the GOP primary and then did the same to the Democrats, winning the White House despite receiving fewer votes than his opponent.
He’s an evil genius and I raise the possibility of him lying about having Covid-19 to prepare us and counteract his game. He knows being sick tends to gain one sympathy. He’s not above weaponizing this.”
The Judenpresse guns may have pulled back as the President “recovers” — but they will begin firing again in a week or two.
Trump will use this truce period to stop the bleeding and to regroup — before unloading his own barrage during the final two weeks of October.
By that time, the fake furor over Trump’s debating style and the manufactured controversy over his tolerance of “The Proud Boys” will be very difficult for the Left to resurrect.
And forget about (them) attacking a 74-year old “survivor” of Stupid-19 for being responsible for the scamdemic. Trump will have too much moral authority on the subject by then.
It’s a shitty, degrading and pathetic way to win an election. But don’t hate the player; hate the game. That being said, one has got to question if a nation now so deeply afflicted by paralyzing stupidity and stark-raving madness is even salvageable at this point — regardless of what Trump and Q Anon may or may not do to crush the Deep State in Term 2.

Who Assassinated Lebanon’s late Rafic Hariri PM? (May 26, 2009)
The German daily Der Spiegel reported excerpts from internet blogs posted by Syrian dissidents six months ago claiming that a special team of Hezbollah masterminded the assassination of late Lebanon Rafic Hariri PM. The timing of that report, which the International Tribunal denied any knowledge, was evidence that the real perpetrators were scared shit of the victory of the opposition in Lebanon at the next Parliamentary election on June 7. It meant that the opposition is not about to let the assassination case linger any longer and will pursue its own investigation or force the International Tribunal to move swiftly and close the doors to further political manipulations of that case. What exacerbated the political climate is that Lebanon has started dismantling systematically Israel’s spy webs and dangerous intelligence are accumulating relative to Israel involvement in many of the string of assassination cases in Lebanon since the murder of Rafic Hariri.in 2005. The US Vice President Biden visited Lebanon for 6 hours before the publishing of the report and met with the leaders of the government alliances. Lebanon has to expect the worst every time a US official pay us visit to give us orders.
Thanks to Walid Jumblat, one of the principal allies to the government, he quickly and adamantly lambasted this chimerical and fabricated report and proclaimed that the report was intended to draw Lebanon into another civil war between the Shiaa and the Sunni Moslem sects. Saad Hariri (leader of the Future movement) and Seniora PM were forced into suspect silence; proof that they were aware of the plan that backfired on them, a plan that is backed by Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Israel, and the USA.
Seymour Hirsh has pronounced that former Vice President Cheney had formed a secret cell with purposes to assassinate a few leaders, including Rafic Hariri. Hassan Nasr Allah, Secretary General of Hezbollah, delivered a speech on May 25 warning the Lebanese of the seriousness of the planning to resume machinations for instigating civil war in Lebanon. Sayyed Hassan recounted the well planned dissemination process of the report. Al Arabiya news media started drawing comments on the report but the feedback was lukewarm and the session fell flat. Then, Israel’s dailies picked up the report on their front pages and the Israeli Foreign Affairs and Defense ministers urged that Nasr Allah be apprehended and delivered to the International Tribunal.
This report is timed before Israel’s all out military maneuver on May 31 and lasting 5 days. This is to be the largest and most exhaustive maneuver ever in the 61 years of the creation of the Zionist State; it should involve all Israel civil and military institutions and cover all the land.
On March 7, 2005 I wrote an article with the same title “Who assassinated Rafic Hariri?” The subsequent chapter is a copy of the article.
“Since the assassination of former Prime Minister Hariri, thousands of citizens have been gathering, every day and night, in Downtown Beirut demanding to know who assassinated Hariri. Not many believe that the government has enough credibility to investigate properly this political crime. The UN has sent a team headed by a former Irish police officer and then later, the Lebanese government asked the help of several criminal experts and investigators from Switzerland and Denmark.
So far, how the blast occurred and what kind of explosive was used is still not conclusive and pretty much vague and divergent. The government is claiming that it was a suicide car bombing done by Abu Abbass who sent a video to Al Jazira channel, one hour after the incident, claiming the responsibility of an unknown group. The government hinted that it analyzed genetically remnants of the perpetrator. A political scientist, Dr. Nakash, believes that the video is real and that two similar simple terrorist techniques were successfully used in Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Nakash produces documents published in the New York Times of many serious threats to King Fahd, owner of Al Arabiya channel and the main mentor of Hariri. Apparently, Al Arabiya was muting news on Iraq that could damage the US presence there. Thus, Saudi Arabia bribed Alawi (Iraq’s prime minister) with two billion dollars to shut down the offices of Al Jazira channel and to crack down on the militia of Al Sadr in Najjaf. Alawi executed the order effectively. Hariri was for some time following the political premises of Saudi Arabia in Iraq but had a change of position lately: It was too late.
The Hariri’s deputies in the Parliament affirm that the detonating charge was planted underground and the material is so new that the labs have failed to determine its composition until now. One of the surviving bodyguard claims that the street was clear and no visible obstructions was evident before the blast.
May be the people want to know but the powers to be, locally, regionally and internationally are not that excited to divulge the parties behind this barbaric crime. The rhetoric of President Bush, Chirac, and the European Union has already pointed the finger to Syria: an indication that any investigation is decided to be politically motivated.
It is hardly credible that any Lebanese political party is behind this assassination.
It seems that Syria has much to lose from the death of Hariri because of his wide range of connections and the many favors he enjoys with Saudi Arabia, the main financial backer of Syria and his stabilizing power within the Lebanese political system.
I am leaning toward an Israeli/US connection for several reasons:
1) The next day to the assassination, Sharon dismissed or refused to extend the appointment of Yaalon as head of the army and appointed the head of Israel secret services to replace him. Was Yaalon against this assassination decision or was he not informed and expressed his position accordingly?
2) Hariri failed many Israeli attempts to internationally cast Hezbollah as a terrorist organization and he succeeded in Europe and in France.
3) Hariri was behind snubbing Israel for the failed May 17, 1983 peace treaty agreement with Lebanon.
4) Hariri was behind the April understandings in 1997 with the direct involvement of the USA on the procedures of conducting war between Hezbollah and Israel. This agreement seriously hampered Israel in waging its devastating traditional attacks on civilians’ targets in south Lebanon and carrying out mass detentions.
5) Hariri had reversed his position on the issue of the return of the Palestinian refugees to Palestine and could certainly block any UN resolution to the contrary. For many years Hariri on purpose heavily indebted the State of Lebanon; the plan was that the Lebanese would cow and accept the residency of the Palestinians in return of the cancellation of the international debt. The pragmatic Hariri comprehended that his former plan was not feasible and agreed to reverse the indebtedness program.
6) The timing of the assassination was appropriate because Israel was under pressures to negotiate with Abu Abbass (The recently elected Palestinian prime minister). Israel wanted a free hand to pressure Abu Abbass into a flexible understanding about the refugees’ problems and Hariri could very well exercise effective counter attacks when he returned as prime minister after the April election.
7) Israel has a history of eliminating every enemy to its plans for expansion and the timing was perfect because first, Hariri was no longer a prime minister; second, the political discourse within Lebanon was very heated for blaming Syria of the many current setbacks, especially for generating the UN resolution 1559. The unfounded rumors that Hariri was behind this resolution could divert the guilt for the assassination to Syria for an extended period of time.
8) Since Israel never makes such serious decisions before receiving the green light from Washington, it is obvious that the USA government has an interest in eliminating Hariri at this junction. Hariri was to be reelected in April and be appointed prime minister again. With this international heavy weight and with his personal friendship with President Chirac of France it would be very difficult for the US to pass a resolution in the UN council to attack Syria in due time, especially after the State of Palestine is recognized internationally.
As newspapers in Israel rightly analyzed the situation, Syria is very probably not directly the guilty party in the crime, but Syria is certainly the party to pay the price and the consequences. Bashar Assad, President of Syria, gave Israel the proper ammunition and the excellent timing for his inexperience and his hubris responses to international pressures. I am certain that it is the Lebanese citizens who are and will pay the price for years to come.”
This is going to be a lengthy article. On March 31, 2005, I wrote another article on the same subject entitled “Okay, let us Cut Out the Crap, Who Killed Rafic Hariri?”
“If anyone is still waiting for the results of any kind of investigation into the assassination of Hariri, I suggest that he build himself a shack in Downtown Beirut and wait there for at least twenty years. If anyone did not get it that more than two great States are behind this assassination he better not stock up on Lebanese flags hoping for another big demonstration with the slogan of “We need the truth. Who killed our martyr Rafic?”
If anyone is still wondering why a thousand kilograms of TNT explosives are needed to assassinate Hariri, or who can stock pile that amount of explosives, or how Hariri was killed by a moving truck, or a suicide bomber, or the detonation technique used or any kind of these stupid details he sure will no more hear any of that crap anymore.
Why Yasser Arafat, the symbol of the Palestinian resistance to Zionism, had to be assassinated, in the meanest possible alternatives, by slow poisoning when even the meanest British allowed Napoleon to dictate his memoirs before dying his slow death with arsenic poisoning? Why Hariri had to be done with in pomp and in grandeur that left dozen killed, a hundred injured and part of Beirut destroyed?
Are the assassins sending an honorable farewell to the overbearing friend, the worthy enemy, the great leader who was much bigger than his tiny country? Apparently the Western Powers have set up a style coding system for eliminating leaders whose time had come and are becoming huge liabilities. I would hypothesize that the number of times the unfortunate bugger was invited officially to visit the leaders of the Western Powers and the frequency of friendship expressions are main factors for this pomp in the assassination; perhaps secondary factors such as the quality and number of citizenships he accumulated in the Western World and less probably the number of honorable degrees which were bestowed on him by universities.
Hariri died on Valentine day. What was his wife Nazek doing in Paris on that day? Was she expecting Rafic to join her in Paris or was she to return that evening to Beirut, or was she held in Paris on purpose so that she might not be a member of the deadly motorcade? Why Hariri was so happy in the morning of his death? Did he receive the good news from Chirac that Syria will be soon be withdrawing its troops but failed to warn him that his hours were counted?
Does anyone still believe that Chirac, a President of a proud country, stayed more than six hours with the Hariri’s family to mourn such a great friend of his? Or may be he is so guilt ridden that he had to shift attention somewhere else? How come France was so chummy with Israel lately as if missing an old friend and cannot stop chatting and cuddling with?
How come the US Administration has been moving its butts in and out of Lebanon and shaking them much more than it did during its Iraq invasion? How come the US Administration has been admonishing Israel to stop affirming the US agreement on its policies whether in Israel or in the Middle East?
I stated in a previous article that the USA and Israel are the culprits and provided the rationales. I stand a little corrected because I am adding a few more culprits.
The 1559 UN resolution that was sponsored by the USA and France was the tip of the iceberg of the package deal between these two States and one of the little secret in the agreement was to contract out Israel to eliminate Hariri with utmost prejudice within specific constraints on when and how. Israel was overjoyed that the opportunity finally came to erase her enemy number one off her black list. Hariri not only attempted several times to undermine Israel plans in Lebanon and in the region but succeeded hands down in all his political counter offensives against Israel and was still capable of doing Israel great damage.
Chirac was relieved from an overbearing friend who kept reminding him of what were the right things to do toward Lebanon. Chirac knew better that doing the right things is not necessarily the right political decisions at this crucial time. Chirac was paying dearly from his prestige and France political positions by opposing the persistent pressures from the European Union and the USA to list Hezbollah as one of the terrorist organizations. Hariri kept showing at the Elysee door and taking photos with Chirac that said “My dearest friend Chirac” as Egypt President Sadat used to say to Kissinger, the USA Secretary of State during Nixon, “My dear friend Henry”.
The USA and France had already agreed on plans for the Greater Middle East and time was of the essence. These plans could not succeed for certain and on time as long as Hariri is still alive and active. France, for now, is winning big: it managed to reaffirm her protectorate rights over Syria and Lebanon like during the colonial times, secured her oil rights in Iraq and removed the American veto to selling military hardware to China.
The USA is succeeding in destabilizing Syria and weakening any resolve Syria might still have to counter the plans in the Greater Middle East.
The price for Hariri’s life was certainly worth any stupid friendship that reached the stage of no return on investment but was becoming a real liability in prestige for Chirac and France geopolitical interests.
A practically weakening Lebanon President Emile Lahoud quickly agreed to an international investigating team without discussing the details of its composition or duration. Lebanon is going to be manhandled by the world community as President Lahoud, reluctantly, invited the wolves, through an international resolution, to come and freely investigate their own deeds and mischief. Lebanon will be welcoming an international team of investigators, about 60 of them and for 6 months automatically renewed for another 6 months.
Citizens, what sort of political and economic stability do you expect for Lebanon in the coming year? Another wave of immigration is taking place and no noble slogans can undo this trend. If Syria was in cohort to this assassination plan it certainly was left to drown and take the heat alone.
