Can Capitalism be reformed? Part 2
Posted on September 25, 2010
This part will discuss ownership of private land properties in capitalist systems and the practical political and legal reforms needed if change is to be effective.
In the first part I wrote:
One: Capitalism is based on four foundations:
1. Private property of means of production;
2. free exchange (products, services…);
3. open free market for commerce; and
4. availability of a vast pool of people willing to work for slave salary.
The main driving force is that the owner of the means of production (the bank, the partners, the shareholder, or the family) should earn as much as the total salary that all workers receive in the business.
Consequently, an employee is hired when the owner can generate profit, at least as equal to the total salary of the hired worker.
Two: The foundations of capitalism have proven Not to function except within strong State institutions, which are almost totally controlled by the capitalist elite classes, especially the Old Money classes that generated the wealth in previous slave working system.
The judicial system obeys laws decreed by parliaments that are dominated by the richest and political “aristocracy” classes, and the executive branch is intrinsically dominated by these classes, directly and indirectly.
This whole political system is called “capitalist democracy” where people have the illusion of electing their representatives for a duration.
After election, people are to behave as spectators: Any serious disturbances are crushed in the name of Law and Order.
Three: The previous article described Communist economic systems (Russia and China) and then, capitalism in Western European social-democratic States.
Four: The one foundation that all economic systems of developed States share is free global trade; which means the liberty to exploiting the developing countries in natural resources and cheap labor.
The developed States are allowed to subsidize their agriculture, but the developing nations are not to do it and they cannot, even if they witness the need to do it .
The developed States are to flood the markets of developing countries with affordable products with No “legal rights” for the developing nations to increasing import taxes in order to safeguarding their own meager means of productions.
The developed States (colonial powers) can find financial resources at low-interest rates (at 3%, even if they accumulated far higher sovereign debts than the poorer States), but not the developing nations( at least over 7% interest rates on loans
In return for blatant exploitation, the developed States agree “voluntarily” to setting aside a small fraction of their GNP to developing the infrastructures in the poorer States; mainly, self-serving their interests to improving and facilitating exploitation and transport of raw materials efficiently.
Five: All “international” institutions such as World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Commerce Trades are dominated by the US, China, and a few European States. Thus, transparency and access to timely information and intelligence are practically denied the developing nations.
Six: Financial institutions (banks, insurance companies…) are the real owner of means of production in capitalist systems. They own 30% of the total wealth of a nation and represent only 1% of the population. This is NOT acceptable.
Fact is, financial institutions generate three times more money than the combined tax collected by the government. This is NOT acceptable.
Any reforms should first target the level of profit that financial institutions are permitted to generate. “Effective” interest rates should be lowered accordingly and tougher regulations imposed of these behemoths.
Small community banks with excellent transparency in decision process and lending policies should be the norm.
The current status of multinational financial institutions is generating abnormal profit with no risks whatsoever.
The aristocratic political family class (representing less than 10% of the population and hoarding more than 20% of the nation’s wealth or what is called “Old Money”) is the main beneficiary of the current capitalist system dominated by the financial barons.
Seven: If capitalism needs salaried people, it must secure the fundamental right to work, a wide range of jobs that satisfy varied opportunity, access to affordable education, safe workplace, universal health coverage, caring for the elderly, and justice for people who worked most of their life for a comfortable retreat.
Has capitalism satisfied the basic needs of its workforce?
Eight: States should start taxing according to the number of employees hired and net revenue (not based on financial sheet profit): These two criteria are the most objective representative of net profit and easy to investigate.
This gimmick of taxing on “net profit” is an accounting fraud that is not objective or fair.
Companies relocating their factories or main business for cheaper workers must be taxed according to the original “national wages” of the workers.
Companies substituting workers for robots should be taxed according to the number of workers substituted.
States will be able to subsidize unemployed people until they find jobs and be imaginative enough to opening up newer job opportunities.
Nine: There is a trend for owners with strong ethics and moral values to including employees as shareholders and participating in management decisions: These companies are doing very well and not suffering from financial crashes.
Institutions and companies for profit are amoral and do not deal in ethical conducts. Ethics and morality are individual characteristics: the more such individuals gather in groups to reclaim fairness and justice in actions the more institutions will be reminded of what is best for society.
Land and private property are the basis for the emergence of the “bourgeois and merchant” classes and which initiated the major leap forward into creating wealth.
This system of private ownership lead to the abolition of feudalism and absolute monarchical powers that were backed by the clergy.
The structure of private ownership of land and properties materially weakened nobility and clergy and eventually displaced them.
Private ownership of land and properties are Not currently economically essential for capitalist system to function properly: Enterprises can lease properties and resume their business as usual.
It is the political ideology behind private properties that is the culprit. Private property ownership remains as a reminder that aristocracy image of power must not vanish in order to retain political power in “democratic” political system.
Ownership of land and real estates must be legally abolished in order to have a serious chance for political reforms. Land should be owned by communities and regulated by community councils.
Land and real estates should only be leased and never owned by individuals or enterprises. Why?
First, inheritance of private real estates and money is the main reason for the existence of aristocratic lineage in wealth and politics. The inheritance mentality encourages sustaining ancient beliefs that the aristocratic class is better fit to rule, guide, and lead simply because this class created the system that perpetuates its interests and egoistic power.
Second, land and properties leasing laws prevent inheritance problems and its successions of hate, suffering, and legal procedures.
Land and real estates should be leased for a period No longer than 30 years and never renewed for any member of the family in order to dissuade political inheritance of images and statuses.
Leases can be extended for three years under particular circumstances. For example, father, mother, and grandparents have the right to die in their property and not experience humiliation and exacerbation at old age. I guess children will make sure that their folks remain at home and not be sent to specialized rest homes in order to enjoying a free location.
Third, leases on unused properties or uninhabited could be canceled. Consequently, homes will be properly maintained and the homeless people will have the availability of shelter in unoccupied properties. Families with crippled or handicapped children will have priority for occupying uninhabited properties.
Fourth, leased land and real estates offer greater opportunities for the newer generations to different life-style in habitat, sustainable energy, and better community life.
Fifth, enterprises may be allowed to renew the lease for specific duration as long as the nature of the business did not change or will not change after the renewal. For example, transforming from a manufacturer to real estates development is Not acceptable.
The third part of this series of articles will develop on election processes and laws reforms that would shift the odds for the middle class and lower classes to acceded to legislative and executive positions.
Note: You may read about the Real Estates bubble that won’t burst and is converging to another financial crisis in https://adonis49.wordpress.com/2010/10/24/obama-praying-mantra-next-f-crash-not-on-my-watch/

You trample on my Cortex and I fire
And now, be warned, I fire (Original, August 3, 2009)
We always had sacerdotal castes;
All kinds of religious sects and cults.
Like mariners,
We always had these syphilis plagued castes,
With a dozen sexual incurable diseases.
Brain in states of liquefaction:
There were no cures through the ages;
Castes experimenting with logical structures
Of mind domination,
Based on premises of hallucinating imageries.
We always had reptiles whistling blood curling warnings;
Forked tongues, long and wiggling tongues,
Sniffing and tasting blood and decomposed bodies.
Dragons, small and large, inflating their throats,
Changing their colors to venomous clad shades, scarlet purple,
To scare off undaunted predators.
Witches to be burned, suffocated
50,000 of them within 2 centuries.
Women with half brains to slave for Male kind
Shorts too short
Jeans too tight
Hair too long and tempting.
There is not one single human kind.
There are Two.
One man realizes he has a Cortex;
He comprehends its limitations;
He is proud of using his developed brain;
And he is intent on resuming the challenges head on.
Another man knows that he has a Cortex.
But refuses to use it:
His Cortex is the center of all evils.
He wallops in his almighty limbic brain.
He wants to meet his God face to face;
He wants to unite with his Creator;
The One and Only One.
There must be two nations.
One nation for the Cortex gender;
One nation for the limbic gender.
They have nostalgia for their origins.
They need to backtrack to their sources.
Reptiles whistling blood curling warnings;
Dragons, small and large, inflating their throats,
Changing their colors to venomous shades,
To scare off undaunted predators.
Experiments Not fitting theology and dogma
Wars blessed by My God
“Second Coming” crap for My Elite Class.
We have got Popes and their cohorts of clergies;
Muftis and Brahmans with their regiments of clergies.
The sinless classes;
Leeches and tenia worms.
Those limbic “smart” reptiles
Have been trying to rewash our mind.
I ejected them from my system, anus exit.
I fenced off my precarious territory;
You trample on my Cortex nation

Tidbits # 48
It was Not planned during this confinement, but I observed that my day work is split in 3 proportional categories of tasks. 1/3 for physical activities (1 hr for early walk, 1 30 min for gardening and physical exercises). 1/3 for reading, writing, publishing on my blog and following on news. 1/3 for home maintenance (laundering, washing dishes, mopping, cooking…). I take 2 short invigorating siesta of less than an hour to focus on breathing and plan the next set of tasks.

No need for personality cult. If your “hero” figured something out, learn what he learned and don’t emulate him in everything else.
Most of Jesus’ disciples and early Christians were dead serious that they would rise on the third day. Especially the martyrs. No need to wonder how initially Christianity made any headway.
My heroes are Malcolm X and James Baldwin: Religion is Never a basis to define and demand human rights.
Malcolm X transformed many times his political model, as cruelty, violence and injustices could no longer fit within his current understanding and model of resistance.
The Modern States that learned to listen to the demands and request of its people and reacts promptly in reconsidering its laws are the most advanced, regardless of their size in land and population and are the most respectful of the UN resolutions regarding human rights. They have confidence that their educated and cultured citizens are more attuned to the world calamities than their functional institutions.
Mener une vie cachée’ n’est pas une vie décente: sans engagement face a l’injustice, rien n’est decent.
Slavery is very ancient, before even religions took hold on society. The cruel and brutal behavior of “owners” of slaves reached a high level of discrimination as religious sects guessed correctly that it satisfies the interest of the power-to-be classes and directly their own interests.

Speech of Hitler lambasting Roosevelt: As Germany declares war on the US on Dec. 11, 1941
Note: A re-edit of 2013 post.
Hitler was Not from any Elite Class circle by a long shot. The colonial powers elite classes used Hitler as a mascot Clown to popularize and spread their apartheid ideology and genocide on large scale in their colonies, through Hitler virulent populist national rhetorics, until Hitler constructed his close-knit circle of Nazi “leaders” .
Hitler knew that Roosevelt (one of the 10,000 ultra rich) favored England, but the US President was unable to counter the 80% of the US public opinion, which was very reluctant of intervening in this war.
Roosevelt has agreed to lend Churchill on credit for military hardware purchases, foodstuff and raw materials, most of the 33 million tons of supplies that England needed every month, just to survive.
Before and for a long time after the start of WWII, the US companies were exporting all kinds of products and rare raw materials to both sides, and accumulating huge profit.
Ribbentrop (German foreign minister) insists that Japan should not give Roosevelt any excuse for the USA to enter the war: We are in the same boat with you, and the US produces more military hardware than all the belligerent forces engaged around the world…”
In Nov. 23, 1941, Germany foreign minister Ribbentrop meet with Japan’s ambassador Oshima and told him:
“We know today for certain from the intransigence of the US, that the negotiations with Japan will end in failure. If Japan decides to go to war against the USA, that option will be favorable to the Führer, and Germany will join Japan in declaring war on the US…”
On Dec. 6, 1941, Roosevelt had written to Japan’s Emperor Hirohito:
“We, State leaders, have the sacred duty of restoring the traditional friendship between our two countries”
Four weeks later, on Dec. 7, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and destroyed half the US naval fleet in Hawaii.
The US airplane carriers were not in sight of the Japanese planes and were saved from certain sinking. That was a fatal mistake that would turn the tide during the Midway sea battle.
A week later, Hitler declares war on the US and delivered this public speech:
“I accuse Roosevelt of crimes against international laws.
Roosevelt comes from a rich family and lived the privileged life that democratic States facilitate the existence of the rich classes, this class labeled the 10,000 ultra rich.
Roosevelt lived WWI in the shadow of his protector (President) Wilson, amid the sphere of the war profiteers and exploited the miseries of the poor classes riddled with soaring inflation and engaged in vast speculation deals…
I was a simple soldier in WWI, and I got injured, and was released as poor as ever.
Roosevelt is intent on switching his policies from the internal public opinion demands to external affairs, aided by his Jewish cohort the Frankfurter, Baruch, Cohen and Morgenthau…”
Initially Germany’s policy was to keep the US neutral in the conflict. Germany was interested in Continental Europe, including Russia as its Vital Space.
On Feb. 1941, German foreign minister Ribbentrop had met again with Japan’s ambassador Oshima.
Ribbentrop tells Oshima that the Führer is considering to extend his vital space eastward, toward Russia, and that he accepts the risk of a war with Russia.
Hitler came to believe the view that Roosevelt is the main danger in the US and that the Jews in the White House were strongly influencing his foreign policies. Hitler said:
“The American have no future. The USA is a rotten country. The racial problems and the vast inequalities are rampant. The US inspires me with aversion and deep disgust. Half Jewish, and half niggers: This is the US society in a nutshell. How can a community founded on solely generating money and stand up among the nations?…”
It is to be noted that, when Germany declared war on the USA, it was already in deep trouble after occupying large swap of lands in Russia and facing serious counter-offensives from the Soviet armies, in this cold Russian winter…
Germany was fighting the two largest powers in the world at the same time.
If Germany coordinated its attack on Russia with Japan, the entire war scenario would have changed. Japan was already in Manchuria and occupied Korea and the coastal parts of China…
But Hitler wanted all of occidental Russia to belong solely to Germany!
Note 2: It is obvious that Germany and Japan had clear ideas on the danger of antagonizing USA, but they could no longer afford the forceful tacit trade of the USA in favor of their “enemies” and military support.

Tidbits and notes. Part 421
“Wars of choice“? And decided by the 1% elite class in the “war industry” that plunder other nations raw materials and oil.. and open market
Do you know there are 40% unemployed youth in Lebanon? This anomie system expected that most of them will find jobs overseas. It turned out that there are no jobs overseas at this junction. This militia/mafia system has to contend with all these educated youth demanding drastic changes: This is the real cause for the current mass upheaval 7iraak.
Since its independence in 1943, Lebanon successive governments and institutions totally ignored the southern region, the Bekaa3 valley and the northern regions: they were to fend for themselves to survive. The southern region had no borders with Syria and they were plagued with the “legitimate” presence of Palestinian PLO in their midst and the successive excuses for Israel to bomb their towns and force them to flee, mostly toward the Capital Beirut (al Da7iyat)
What is the main institution that ruled and controlled this fiasco in Lebanon for 30 years? It is the Parliament and all its deputies for 30 years. They all, and invariably, elected the non-changeable Nabih Berry by all the deputies. They all have to face the justice system for cooperating with this anomie system
Nothing is spontaneous. Nothing but paying jobs can organize a mass movement. And the more the content is based on abstract concepts (freedom, liberty…) the worse is the “Style” of the particular 7iraak (tent, khaymat)
The higher the indirect taxes the more outdated the political/economic system. Lebanon is the worst: a non-productive society and budget mostly based on indirect taxes that rob the citizens in every of his daily activities
In Middle-East politics, I have two invariable positions, based on daily confirmation for many decades: 1) Israel is our Existential Enemy, and 2) Greater Syria forms one Nation with One people (current Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan and Iraq)
Think with me: if you are an Ethiopian from the center of the country, how could you manage to save $400 in order to flee the country toward Djibouti, Yemen and Saudi Kingdom? Would you take this totally hazardous and and insane route if you were Not submitted to an ethnic cleansing? I submit that the multinational agro-businesses that rent for cheap vast land and entice the peasant to flee their land? This regulated scheme has been going on for decades in Ethiopia. And how come the world community dare attribute a Nobel of Peace to the President of Ethiopia? And why this dam on the Nile if Not to provide cheap water for the multinationals?
Same basic rule in Japan: No eye glasses are to be worn by female employees in tourism, fashion industries…
Apparently, frequently catching cold is the symptom of a transformed constitution that is getting allergic to many items and pathogens that it was previously immune of. Kind of the immune system got set on an old administrative routine and unable to cope with the exponential increase in polluters and human-made poisonous products
Let’s us Not be that confused: In every country, there is an “elite class” that managed to take roots with all the privileges that have Nothing to do with “money” as we know it. For fundamental reasons, and Not related to any rational basis, No revolution ever eliminated the elite class.
Every other “citizen” regardless of color, genders, race, financial social status… are necessarily second class, given that the Elite Class conserves its status. Sure, there are third and fourth classes… All you can do is learn and do your best to advance to the second class.
What liberty? What human dignity?

What liberty, what human dignity?
(Written in January 27, 2008 and slightly re-edited)
The concepts of dignity and liberty come in one package deal. The relative implant of these concepts in the organizational culture guides the trend in any one culture.
Human dignity and liberty of choices are the main ingredients in an individual belief system.
The mainly unconscious belief system is mostly hard wired in the nervous network that tips the balance on the thousands of daily decisions, and only our actions reveal our real values.
If you tend to accept the above paragraph as making a lot of sense then most probably you have been strongly influenced by the Western colonial culture and tend Not to dwell on any definition or discrimination of how dignity and liberty are assimilated and interpreted by other cultures.
In fact, colonialism is fundamentally the imposition of a specific supra-mythical culture on other communities. Outside the natural sciences, the colonial powers have no interest or need to fine tune the general abstract concepts related to human sciences and much less of dignity and liberty.
The former colonial powers are still exercising their influence on other communities and have generally substituted military force by technocracy in banking, monetary reforms, and mondialization of trade and finance, and technology standardization.
The pragmatic western culture is resuming its well known strategy that says “the best route to transform other cultures is to install the basic material standards and then, gradually and inevitably, the other cultures will adopt the philosophies of legal capitalism, democracy, modernism, progress and open borders for one world material culture”
Liberty is Not just the freedom of selecting a religion for a community to adopt, which is necessary but never sufficient. A community that values liberty should be ready to genuinely accepts the contributions and values of other religions, traditions and customs.
Liberty has for pre-requisite constant dialogue and inter-communication among the various communities and religions. Thus, any belief system is fundamentally wrong because it means to exclude the other beliefs; any reshuffling or modification to a belief system remains wrong no matter what.
And liberty means recognising variations on sets of values.
A human is a whole microcosm in such a way that the destiny of humanity unfold through one individual and this concept is the foundation for human dignity. Otherwise, we are to accept that we are merely a tiny part in the chain of the other billions of individuals and we are ready to follow monolithic and totalitarian systems that want a unique universal conceptual system of values.
If what differentiate biologically an individual from his neighbor are a very few distribution of genes, then we might conjecture that what differentiate the value system and moral behavior of an individual from his neighbor are a tiny number of qualitative attributes.
It is not the numerous common elements that we share, but the values we attach on rare qualitative values that set us apart.
There are special individuals like Gandhi and Martin Luther King who are the ultimate political men striving for sainthood through fair non-violent and active struggles for the dignity of the disinherited, the humble, and the common folks.
What dignity is there watching swarms of skeletal humans roaming arid and desert lands among calcified carcasses, not a patch of green or a tiny tree on the horizon to taking shelter under, heading toward a camping ground, hundreds of miles away for international relief succor?
What dignity is there to experiencing haggard humans fleeing civil war-torn villages to cramp up tent compounds?
What dignity when these occurrences are frequent and happening all over the under-developed States?
Respecting human dignity means that we are ready to offer the individual with the tools and opportunities to resume fighting against imminent death, against famine, sickness, oppression because life is a struggle against the chaos in death.
Respecting human dignity means alleviating the material struggle and thus shortening the necessary resting pauses when people feel the need to believe that destiny is traced at inception: they do at times feel exhausted surmounting artificial obstacles that are not in the nature of things
They do lose confidence in the organizations that constantly defy the processes of living organisms.
Respecting human dignity is providing the resources to overcome the unnecessary frequent pauses when people are forced to believe in pre-destiny because they are not allowed to experience the little daily pleasures of loneliness, privacy, quality leisure time and self paced working habits.
There is dignity in erecting a school for children so that they might grow with dreams of better opportunities than their present lot.
There is dignity in building a dispensary so that children and the sick grow hope of having their pains alleviated.
There is dignity sharing in the digging of a well and the construction of an irrigation canal, a few necessary infrastructures so that a sense of control over destiny is palpable.
It does not take much investment to increase the level of dignity for changing the mind set to an alternative course for the future.
As long as the disparity between the rich and the poor in a society is very high then the culture of the society tends to obliterate the notion of dignity to all.
Consequently, sending the strong message that the notion of liberty for seeking a happy and satisfying life is essentially selective among classes.
Note: Let’s us Not be that confused: In every country, there is an “elite class” that managed to take roots with all the privileges that have Nothing to do with “money” as we know it. For fundamental reasons, Not related to any rational basis, No revolution ever managed to eliminated the elite classes: They are kind of recycled when the effervescence cool down.
Every other “citizen” regardless of color, genders, race, financial social status… are necessarily second class. Sure, there are third and fourth classes… All you can do is learn and do your best to advance to the second class.
Is “Homo Deus” explaining how global “Elite” class will be behaving in the future? It is still behaving the same in last century?
Posted by: adonis49 on: June 6, 2017
Is “Homo Deus” is explaining how global “Elite” class will behave in the future?
But It is still behaving the same in last century.
Yuval Noah Harari in his latest book “Homo Deus” argues that humanity’s progress toward bliss, immortality, and divinity is bound to be unequal—some people will leap ahead, while many more are left behind.
As if those “left behind” is Not the fact every since history of societies was told
Yuval Noah Harari is re-telling us how the new biological and technological breakthrough has benefited the well-to-do. Bill Gates argues that new vaccines have been spread in less developed States a year after their discovery, just to refresh our memories that foundations are at work and mean to do good to humanity at large.
Question:
Suppose “Elite” class worldwide with plenty of money, privileges, connections…manages to give birth to totally healthy babies, healthy till late age, live without daily worries though “third party” that save them to stay in line for public transaction and AI robots to take care of domestic maintenance… what kinds of purposes could they invent for their life?
Get addicted to something like gambling, hard drugs, “immoral behaviors”, indifferent opinions, serial murderer of everyone disturbing their comfort zone, getting favourite seats to every event, driving like crazy on closed circuits, bungee jumping everyday, sky diving, acquiring more wealth by aggressive financial risk taking and monopolies in order to head the list of the richest families…
Do you believe that we really have organized to meet basic human needs: being happy, healthy, and in control of the environment around us?
Mind you that China alone has a middle class far numerous that the combined middle classes in the world. The same reality is at work in India.
May be the hotbeds for the coming revolutions against inherited, and unwritten entitlements will surge from these two most populated nations.
Do you think it is right to underpay workers from a decent living wage so that wealthy owners or planning to be wealthy people achieve some kind of dreams? Is this Not Capitalism entitlement at its ugliest level?
That a large pool of poor people must be maintained to serve those with money, privileges and entitlement?
But this is Not the future: It has been going on for more than a century.
Note: Bill Gates wrote that “Rather than looking back, as Sapiens does, Homo Deus looks to the future”. As if what Yuval describes in “Homo Deus” is different of what we have been observing for more than a century.
“Unfruitful Nostalgia”, controlled nationalism and degraded sharing of cultures…
There was a tradition, long time ago, in several City-States in the Levant. This custom was for the city council to encourage and coax unmarried males and new couples, who could not afford the life-style in the city, to buy them a one-way ticket to a far away land, to work in mines, fend for themselves and survive on their own, and eventually participate in building a new town
These “unwanted citizens”, as was the case in the modern colonial nations, and as it’s practiced now in financially “depressed countries”, discovered lands and transferred their knowledge, language, customs and traditions.
The world was dominated by the rule of the Elite Class of dispatching abroad the unwanted, undesirables, and untouchables.
This “civilized world” was built with the unwanted classes of people who quickly learned that “It is not where you were born, but where you live and were accepted, as one of the community member in the “New World”, that is Your Home”
New City-States around the Old World were created with the knowledge and customs of the period of the current generation of unwanted caste-off people.
Not long ago, apprenticeship was the system for acquiring the skills for an artisan job. There were a few disadvantages in that system:
1. The kids lived as a slave with his master, and if the sons of the master or one of his close relatives turned out to be as talented as the slave, there were no outlet for the kid to be paid decently as a talented artisan. The Gild system would cast out the talented poorer relative and he was to move outside the city limits or be transferred to one of the “colonies”
2. After many years of slaving, it is possible that the kid showed no talent in what he was supposed to master. Given the short life expectancy, it was difficult to change job.
There came a time when transportation were relatively accessible to return to the Homeland, and to die there, setting the stage to this Unfruitful Nostalgia.
This kind of nostalgia gave rise to Controlled Nationalism, a gathering of closed-minded citizens who refused to associate with the world communities and share with their cultures.
“I want to die where I was born” generated the downhill of cultural sharing trend.
As the unwanted got it in their mind to return and confront the old system, the Old Guard decided that it would be best to control the poorer classes instead of sending them to taste freedom abroad.
Instead, The Old Guard dispatched the poor citizens to wars of expansion under the premise that “What benefit the Elite class will trickle down to the poorer classes of the newer generations”.
After colonizing a land, the less skilled “citizens” were sent to manage, direct, and train the promising natives in the mines and manufacturing outlet… where they spent most of their lives in foreign lands and left generations of new breeds.
The Roman Empire started the process of forcing their “civilization” on native people. The European colonial powers added insult to injury by allowing their criminals and violent prisoners to instill Law and Order on the occupied natives.
The less educated members of their elite classes were sent to “administer” the colonies, adopting the brute force and the latest techniques and vilest of ideologies in crushing the will of the natives, labeling them animals and barbarians, devoid of mankind soul that enable them to enjoy human rights.
And the ugly preemptive wars degenerated into the nastier of violence and brutality, and mankind learned to increase his brutality by a notch with every war.
Note: I wrote this post around 4 am while watching the movie Marugi or Ohuru Freedom. A 80-year old Kenyan who participated in the Mao Mao uprising against the British colonial power. The British killed his two kids and wife, and was detained in several concentration camps and was beaten and handicapped.
Marugi decided to learn to read and to joined a school with the kids after Kenya independence. He eventually was allowed to sit with the kids and was asked to deliver a speech at the UN to encourage learning and free schools for children…
No to”Force is justice”. Empower fairness: “Give me fairness and I will be happy for both of us”

No to”Force is justice”? Empower fairness
After securing good health, my first value is empowering fairness in all my deals and relationship.
I say “Give me fairness and I will be happy for both of us.” So far, we failed the struggle for the coronation of fair deals as the prime value in our interactions.
We ended up concocting the practical notion that “force is justice” to serving the interest of the greedy passions. The justice of Law and Order has been imposed on us by the power-to-be for the benefit of the rich classes and aristocratic “elite class.”
Ethics standards and moral values such as compassion, fairness, solidarity toward the less fortunate, the weakest, and the downtrodden are not within the realm of politics for achieving practical feasible objectives.
You want to change your life?
It is certainly an individual undertaking of awareness, will, and determination. These qualities are necessary but never sufficient under certain conditions in society: It is very difficult to change your life when the odds in social conditions are against you.
Harsh conditions such as lack of opportunities, schools, health care, insecurity, lawlessness, biased laws, undemocratic election laws and procedures… are almost insurmountable barriers to determined individual’s decisions.
First, get aware that you have reached bottom in apathy, misery, and indignity and that you need changing your life.
Second, figure out what is it in your life that need changing.
Third, pick up the item that you can handle as a first step in your plan of action.
Fourth, knock on doors of facilities that can aid you in your tentative push forward: After the first step of action, resilience will follow.
