Note: I take notes of books I read and comment on events and edit sentences that fit my style. I pa attention to researched documentaries and serious links I receive. The page is long and growing like crazy, and the sections I post contains a month-old events that are worth refreshing your memory

It is the best timing for the UN to rescind veto powers of the five super-States:  the veto rights are becoming total liabilities to the super-States and to the confidence of the world community in the legitimacy of the UN working to the greater benefit of all mankind.  The UN will find a listening ear to abolishing veto rights.

To understand what a personal coach does is to understand what they don’t do

In general, life coaches differ from therapists in 3 key ways:

  1. There is no professional boundary between coach and client. Unlike therapists—who usually decline to disclose much about their personal lives to their clients—most coaches go for a relatable, empathetic, informal approach. Some also use sharing about their lives and struggles online as a marketing tool. Your vibe, they say, attracts your tribe.
  2. They are future and goal-oriented. A life coach session generally doesn’t involve digging deep into your past to revisit childhood trauma. Instead, it’s more forward-looking: What can you do today, this week, this month to change your life for the better?
  3. Serious mental health issues—such as depression, anxiety, trauma, self harm, or addiction—are (in theory) not for life coaches to deal with. Professional standards dictate that coaches should refer out when these arise. But is there anyone checking they do that? Definitely not.

Brain select the most probable of your emotions in a context of your personal experiences of “What is this most likely in my past experience?

Emotions are not built into your brain at birth, like in a hard-wired circuit. They are just built as you live along.

Predictions are primal and the basis of every experience that you have. They are the basis of every action that you take.

In fact, predictions are what allow you to understand the words. Using past experience, your brain predicts and constructs your experience of the world, and always within current context.

French Macron to Erdogan: Cease fire this month include Afrin. Let’s see how Erdogan give him a shit

Tomas Isidore Sankara (1949-87) led a coup d’etat in Haute Volta (Burkina Faso) in 1983. He was Captain paratrooper and remained captain-President while other “leader sergeants” in Africa promoted themselves to generals and emperors. Sankara predicted that he will be assassinated at the same age as The Che.

And the media and talking heads are  still debating whether Bashar Assad had won or Not.

Bashar has no real power after he let loose the regular Syrian army in 2012 to start recovering lost grounds.

Bashar is now a Symbol of the resilience and determination to the Syrian people to regain all its lands, including the Golan Heights and rebuild a Non-sectarian political establishment.

Cease fire from 9 to 2 pm in Al Ghouta. If Al Nusra and Jaish al Shaam are Not satisfied, then fire 24/24

The Inga Rapid on the Congo can produce 44 GW, double the power generated by the latest super Chinese complex of the Three-Gorges.  Just 44 GW can cover 40% of all Africa needs in electrical power.

The “Arab” peoples realized without a shadow of doubt that the future is bleak, if no internal reactions are contemplated:  They were experiencing direct control and hegemony of foreign powers via their long-standing dictators.  Even France and Germany reverted their positions and begged Bush Jr. to share in Iraq’s spoils.

The arrogant pronouncements of Bush Jr. of disseminating “democratic” institutions in the Greater Middle East region smacked as a blatant bogus:  The US was content supporting all dictators, oligarchic regimes, and unconstitutional monarchies in the region.

The lingering presence of US troops in Iraq and the subsequent financial and manpower losses extended a lesson to the US administration that heavy physical occupation does not generate any returns on brutal “investments”. The USA is doing the same errors in keeping troops in Syria and Iraq under the excuse of needing to share in the gas and oil future exploitation.

Simple feelings (like calmness and agitation, excitement, comfort, discomfort) are Not emotionsEmotions are brain’s predicted guesses within a context that you think come close to one of your past experiences

Syria has the #1 reserves in gas and oil, inland and on the sea. The USA will spend $billions to maintain military bases in Syria and Iraq and keep supporting various terrorists factions to destabilize Syria. At the end, USA will pay the market price for every gallon it import. US institutions are hard-wired Not to contemplate fair and just negotiations.

Why USA never demanded Israel to conduct a single referendum  on any one of major issues in the Middle-East? Like retaining the Golan Heights, Jerusalem as Capital or building Walls of Shames?

Moving the US embassy to Jerusalem on May 15 is the nastiest symbolic date for all Palestinians and nationalist “Arabs”: Date of infamy of the Nakba when State of Israel first displaced thousands of the Palestinians in 1948

Syria ambassador, Bashar Jaafari, is my hero at the UN and in the negotiations. The limpid and firm voice of the nationalist Syrian people.

Note: These words are ordered according to oldest used. I think that I have posted this on my blog a while ago. Jouska should be what authors do when attempting to write a conversation?
How useful it is to memorize a few of these words? Just keep it a secret for your “Aha. I have the proper term for what I am just feeling, though I don’t care to search for it…?

Keeps Me Sane (1998)

Reading keeps me sane. The time for enjoying a great book

Is still there, and always will be.

I always expect jewels on human relationship.

I like surprises which reveal feelings that I would never divulge

Either to a shrink or to anyone at my deathbed.

Feelings that reveal emotions I thought were my exclusive domain.

Puerile ideas that I would be ashamed to express,

Dangerous tendencies that I like to ignore.

The more I read, the more I am convinced that I am sane,

That everyone is sane given time to read as much,

That mankind shares every thought and emotion I can come up with.

Accepting that humbling knowledge needs time,

Time to reach a stage of vulnerability where life seems too complex,

For diminishing energy and forever growing dreams.

Run baby run, though you are sane and think otherwise.

Sink baby sink, though you are not much different than your neighbor.

Once I realized that all kinds of feelings are common to all,

What little work remained is a trifle to many.

It is a job you did all your life with no effort:

Acting normal.

Just act normal to all who cannot stand reading.

Why wait to be reincarnated, now and then,

Over thousands of years, as a new kind of animal?

Why not have a thousand human souls in a lifetime?

Every character in a story is You

Under different time, country, climate, class, birthrights, condition,

In different situations, social, political, financial and gender.

You span the whole gamut of human emotions

You are the good, the bad, the evil, the saint.

You are the rich, the poor, the nobleman, the peasant.

You are the genius, the idiot, the hardworking, and the fainéant.

Pick a well described character, good or evil.

Personify it and the story changes as you change,

Your heart and mind reedit the story as you change character

Because it could have been you; it is you indeed.

You can be everybody, everywhere and it is still a fact,

You are a changed person, many peoples in one.
