Courage in researching a people history and keeping up to date to warmongering decisions and antagonistic political positions…

Paul Craig Roberts. March 16, 2021

I Have Outlived My Country

I was born in the spring of 1939.  I was a few days shy of 5 months old when Germany invaded Poland on September 1.  The British and French governments responded to the invasion by declaring war on Germany, thus initiating World War II.

Germany always gets the blame.

Germany’s invasion of Poland is always said to be the event that triggered World War II, but never that the British and French declared war on Germany.  This is because the victors write the history.

The British, French, and Americans were victors only because the Soviet Red Army defeated the Wehrmacht, possibly the finest army ever in existence.

The Soviets prevailed through sheer numbers and in weapons production capability far beyond Germany’s capability.

After reading Viktor Suvorov book, The Real Culprit, I don’t believe Stalin had any need of war supplies from the West.

The Normandy invasion did not take place until June 6, 1944, after the Red Army had been fighting the Wehrmacht for three years since June 1941.

Hitler was putting Germany back together from its dismemberment by the Versailles Treaty.

Only the German people and territory under Polish rule remained to be returned.  For reasons that make no sense, the British government interfered in the German-Polish negotiations and caused the Polish military government to break off the negotiations.

The result was the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact that divided Poland between Germany and the Soviet Union. Hitler had a claim to German territory.  The Soviets had no claim to the Polish territory seized by the Red Army, but the British and French limited their objection to the invasion of Poland by Germany.

It was the mindless British “guarantee” to Poland that caused World War II.  In its absence the Polish government would have come to terms with Germany.

Hitler did not want war with Britain and France, much less with the US. These were events forced on Germany.  After the swift  German  defeat of the British and French armies, Hitler offered Britain peace with German military guarantees to protect the British Empire, but Churchill kept the peace offer secret and refused.

Churchill continued to refuse German offers of peace, and some historians concluded that the reason Hitler attacked the Soviet Union was because of Hitler’s belief that Churchill was holding out with the expectation that Russia would come into the war on the British and French side.

Therefore, Hitler decided that he would remove that British hope by overrunning Russia.

Suvorov says Hitler knew that Stalin was about to attack Germany, but David Irving’s histories have not uncovered  evidence to support Suvorov’s claim that Hitler knew of a planned Soviet attack. Neither side seemed to know of the other side’s intention.

Had it not been for an early Russian winter, Hitler might have succeeded in knocking out the Soviet Union. The early winter stopped the German advance and gave the Red Army time to recover and organize.

I am writing this as background to the world I grew up in.

World War II did not harm the US.  It did America well. The war brought the US out of the decade-long economic depression and left the US as the world power with the reserve currency.

US military deaths from both fronts—Japan and Germany—totalled 416,000, a number almost matched by Britain, a much smaller country and population, and exceeded by tiny Yugoslavia with 446,000 military deaths.

In contrast, German military deaths totaled 4,300,000 plus an underestimate of 500,000 civilian war deaths from the British and American policy of targeting German civilian populations with bombing raids on residential areas.

The defeat of Germany was achieved by the Soviet Union with a minimum of 10,000,000 military deaths and between 24,000,000 and 26,000,000 civilian and military deaths.

I grew up in halcyon days in Atlanta. In those days a person did not have to be brilliant or have ruling class connections in order to succeed.  This fact seperated America from the rest of the world in popular opinion. Americans lived in a land of opportunity. And it was true, not make believe.

In Atlanta, Georgia, 5-year olds could walk alone or with neighborhood classmates a mile to school and a mile to home without being molested or kidnapped.

Boys could have fights on the playground without being arrested. Parents together with teachers dealt with problems, which were few. Teachers were outstanding.

There was no such thing as education degrees. Teachers had degrees in English or other languages, mathematics, chemistry, physics, history. They were people who loved their subjects and conveyed that to students.

Misbehavior, which was rare, was dealt with a note home that had to be signed by a parent and returned the next day.  The last thing any of us wanted was a note home. There was no CPS we could call to complain of being punished for our misdeeds.

We got along well with black Americans.  They were part of even lower middle class white households.

In those days labor saving machines were unknown.  Clothes were washed by hand and hung on clothes lines to dry. Meals were cooked from scratch with real ingredients.

If mother was not present, Carrie (black home servant) was the boss, not us “white privileged.”  Carrie dined with us at the table, and if Carrie encountered a financial problem she couldn’t handle, my parents and her other day employers would pool our scant resources to help her.

I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, with no fear or hatred of black Americans.  This is no longer the case in Atlanta.  Many white Atlantans are fleeing the city.

It is not only the relations between the races that have deteriorated.  Everything has.

America today bears no relationship to the American world that I grew up in.

Of course, today the reply will be that I grew up in “white privilege.” But actually, I grew up in a community in which people and genders had different roles, and a person was judged by performance.  Performance included moral behavior.  If you were a moral person who did a good job and your word was true, you were respected.  Period.

Today if you aren’t a “woke” person who objects to gender pronouns and you don’t believe that the white working class are “systemic racists,” you are deplatformed and cancelled.

White people are now demonized by other white people, and the demonized are not permitted to object. Any “person of color” can destroy any boss, fellow employee, university professor or dean by claiming to be “offended.”

In America today there are very few free people.  Only those not dependent on employment and media approval are free.

Even the few free Americans are in jeopardy as the expression of dissent is being defined by the Biden regime as domestic terrorism. (Are you a believer in the Prophet Donald Trump?)

The media speaks with one voice, and the voice is one of denunciation of all who challenge the ruling narratives.  (It has been this way since Nixon)

In America today, media protect the mistakes and avariciousness of medical bureaucrats allied with Big Pharma, and the media shield Establishment narratives from scientific experts who are silenced by being denied a forum.

Consequently, the public is informed only by self-serving propaganda that enriches material interests and increases government power over citizens.

The consequences are varied and disastrous.  With Covid there have been needless lockdowns that have destroyed businesses and individuals.  (Too general. Got to develop on that issue)

In foreign policy, antagonisms have been created that could lead to disastrous wars with Iran, China, and Russia.  The focus of the Biden regime on defining Trump supporters, all 90 million American voters, as domestic terrorists implies a civil war. (Sanctions on entire people are still in place, and Biden talks but does Not deliver on removing sanctions)

What I find most discouraging about America is that after all the proven deceptions Americans  have endured—the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the assassination of Robert Kennedy, the assassination of Martin Luther King, the assassination of foreign leaders who refused to toe Washington’ line, the Vietnam War, 9/11, Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass deception, Assad use of chemical weapons, Iranian nukes, Russiagate, Russian invasion of Ukraine, the 2020 election, Trump insurrection at the Capitol…

The list goes on forever and (Not listing all the pre-emptive wars and countless military coups on undervelopped new States…)— And Americans continue to sit in front of CNN and the rest,  listen to NPR, and read the New York Times or Washington Post…

And continue to accommodate the ruling Establishment by consenting to being brainwashed. (That was the trend for decades, especially in US total support of Israel racist and apartheid policies and demonizing the Middle-East people)

A people this insouciant has no possibility of survival.

A bainwashed America, a brainwashed Western World, are not homes for freedom.

On this website, I attempt to make you aware.

In contrast to the media, I give you good information about the subjects I explain.  Go back and compare what I told you compared with what the media told you.

Consider, for example, my Covid reporting. I told you how to protect yourself.  I told you what the cures are if you are infected with a serious case. I told you the masks are not protective unless they are rated N95.

This is valuable information.  This website is valuable for everyone. Every person on earth is unique.

We should respect everyone until they give us reason not to respect them.  The people in Western governments seem to be the least respectable.  They lie the most, and the presstitutes cover for them. Only those who speak truth are attacked.

Think about your sources of information.  I mean real information, not that which agrees with your biases.  Do you have better sources than this website?

Does it keep you informed?  Does it make you think?

Note 1: Stalin did Not reduced drastically the ever increased demand of Nazi Germany for oil and gas. Russia and the US were the main importers of Germany goods. Hitler could have delayed another 6 months his invasion and destroyed all of England airports and seaports and forced Churchill to howl Uncle. Launching 2 wars in the same time has never been a good strategic decision.

Note 2: It was England that prompted WWI because Germany was the second trade giant behind the USA and its navy was at a par with British marine fleet.

Speech of Hitler lambasting Roosevelt: As Germany declares war on the US on Dec. 11, 1941

Note: A re-edit of 2013 post.

Hitler was Not from any Elite Class circle by a long shot. The colonial powers elite classes used Hitler as a mascot Clown to popularize and spread their apartheid ideology and genocide on large scale in their colonies, through Hitler virulent populist national rhetorics, until Hitler constructed his close-knit circle of Nazi “leaders” .

Hitler knew that Roosevelt (one of the 10,000 ultra rich) favored England, but the US President was unable to counter the 80% of the US public opinion, which was very reluctant of intervening in this war.

Roosevelt has agreed to lend Churchill on credit for military hardware purchases, foodstuff and raw materials, most of the 33 million tons of supplies that England needed every month, just to survive.

Before and for a long time after the start of WWII, the US companies were exporting all kinds of products and rare raw materials to both sides, and accumulating huge profit.

Ribbentrop (German foreign minister) insists that Japan should not give Roosevelt any excuse for the USA to enter the war: We are in the same boat with you, and the US produces more military hardware than all the belligerent forces engaged around the world…”

In Nov. 23, 1941, Germany foreign minister Ribbentrop meet with Japan’s ambassador Oshima and told him:

“We know today for certain from the intransigence of the US, that the negotiations with Japan will end in failure.  If Japan decides to go to war against the USA, that option will be favorable to the Führer, and Germany will join Japan in declaring war on the US…”

On Dec. 6, 1941, Roosevelt had written to Japan’s Emperor Hirohito:

“We, State leaders, have the sacred duty of restoring the traditional friendship between our two countries”

Four weeks later, on Dec. 7, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and destroyed half the US naval fleet in Hawaii.

The US airplane carriers were not in sight of the Japanese planes and were saved from certain sinking. That was a fatal mistake that would turn the tide during the Midway sea battle.

A week later, Hitler declares war on the US and delivered this public speech:

“I accuse Roosevelt of crimes against international laws.

Roosevelt comes from a rich family and lived the privileged life that democratic States facilitate the existence of the rich classes, this class labeled the 10,000 ultra rich.

Roosevelt lived WWI in the shadow of his protector (President) Wilson, amid the sphere of the war profiteers and exploited the miseries of the poor classes riddled with soaring inflation and engaged in vast speculation deals

I was a simple soldier in WWI, and I got injured, and was released as poor as ever.

Roosevelt is intent on switching his policies from the internal public opinion demands to external affairs, aided by his Jewish cohort the Frankfurter, Baruch, Cohen and Morgenthau…”

Initially Germany’s policy was to keep the US neutral in the conflict. Germany was interested in Continental Europe, including Russia as its Vital Space.

On Feb. 1941, German foreign minister Ribbentrop had met again with Japan’s ambassador Oshima.

Ribbentrop tells Oshima that the Führer is considering to extend his vital space eastward, toward Russia, and that he accepts the risk of a war with Russia.

Hitler came to believe the view that Roosevelt is the main danger in the US and that the Jews in the White House were strongly influencing his foreign policies. Hitler said:

“The American have no future. The USA is a rotten country. The racial problems and the vast inequalities are rampant. The US inspires me with aversion and deep disgust. Half Jewish, and half niggers: This is the US society in a nutshell. How can a community founded on solely generating money and stand up among the nations?…”

It is to be noted that, when Germany declared war on the USA, it was already in deep trouble after occupying large swap of lands in Russia and facing serious counter-offensives from the Soviet armies, in this cold Russian winter…

Germany was fighting the two largest powers in the world at the same time.

If Germany coordinated its attack on Russia with Japan, the entire war scenario would have changed. Japan was already in Manchuria and occupied Korea and the coastal parts of China

But Hitler wanted all of occidental Russia to belong solely to Germany!

Note 2: It is obvious that Germany and Japan had clear ideas on the danger of antagonizing USA, but they could no longer afford the forceful tacit trade of the USA in favor of their “enemies” and military support.

Lack of Horizon: Can’t vanquish this mighty Dictator

Chomsky can enumerate a long list of dictators who ruled in the 20th century, and so can I.

Chomsky cut this list short and wanted to focus on three dictators: Hitler, Stalin, and absence of horizon. (I would place Mao as #1 for the million of Chinese who had to pay the heavy price of his brand of communism)

On the individual level, lack of horizon is the worst of dictators: It is the cause of all the unrest, confusion, feeling of nothingness, indignity, worthlessness…

Lack of horizon corner citizens within engenders lengthy conflicts, violence, for the sake of violence…

Dictators, totalitarian, theocratic and oligarchic regimes block all horizons for the curious citizens, and the individual has to be extremely imaginative in order to capture a little open space to realize his potentials.

(That is the main definition of brainwashing: no alternative aspects of live are disseminated to grab on and create an alternative world view. I think this is still going on in current China because the majority of the citizens are afraid or don’t care anymore to think politics or watch international news. Only the selected members of the party are allowed to delve deeply in the details of world politics and business)

Lack of vision has different beneficial consequences on the individual level and on the institutional scale.

I say lack of vision for State governments offer greater liberty and freedom of expression for the citizens.

Once State elite leaders start creating and imagining visions, and opening wide horizons for their wealth and grandeur, the little people suffer and are totally subjugated by these crazies who converse among themselves in closed clubs

Drastic solutions are conceived by the elite classes among themselves…

With the practical closing of borders for legal immigration to the former colonial countries, world unrest will cross borders in any way possible. We are following an acute process for the mighty Dictator of lack of horizon to better ourselves, individually.

Can’t vanquish this mighty ruthless Dictator of lack of horizon, except by transcending

the absurd reality with fresh imaginative alternatives…

The current German multinational empires are alive and kicking after they totally enjoyed very cheap labor force from the neighboring concentration camps in WWII, explicitly located near the industries, about 5 km away. The detainees walked at 4: 30 am, accompanied by SS soldiers and by trained dogs to work. They died within a year from famine, exhaustion and malnutrition
On Feb.20, 1933, 24 top German industrialists and bankers met in the Reichstag with Herman Goering. Hitler entered and delivered a 30-minutes speech asking them to contribute for the NAZI election campaign on March 5. They all dipped in their deep pockets and amassed millions of Marks. And what was the consequences to their businesses?
Can you recognize these German empires? Krupp, Bayer, BMW, Daimler, IG Farben, Opel, Agfa, Shell, Schneider, Telefunken, Siemens, Struthof…
Do you know any of these family names? German famous industrialists and bankers who supported Hitler wholeheartedly: Krupp, Vogler, Quandt, Flick, Tengelmann, Springorum, Rosterg, Brandi, Buren, Heubel, von Schnitzler, Stinnes, Schulte, von Winterfeld, von Witzle ben, Reuter, Diehn, Fickler, von Loewenstein, Grauert, Schmitt, von Finck, Dr. Stein
Can you name a few of the concentration camps in Germany of WWII? Mauthausen, Dachau, Papenburg, Sachsenhausen, Natzweiller, Buchenwald, Schirmeck, Dora-Mittlebau, Gross-Rosen, Ravensbruck, Auschwitz, Neuengamme, Flossenburg
When in 1958 a few survivors of concentration camps filed suit for retribution, Krupp negotiated for 2 years before paying $2,500 for each survivors. The next waves of survivors lawsuits were Not that lucky: depending on ethnic and religious background and the State backing the lawsuits, many survivors barely got $500.
“The Jews are costly”  said Krupp. More so after the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 by a single vote majority at the UN. The colonial powers of USA, France, Germany, England and Italy advanced for free over $300 bn to Israel since 1948. (Israel citizens have higher yearly income than the Spanish, and still, Israel receive a yearly $5 billion from the USA. Germany build submarines to Israel at cost)
Anne Quito: “The simple act of inhaling the odors you encounter—fragrant, foul and everything in between—is a solid starting point to olfactory awareness. Developing your nose not only opens you up to a range of new sensory palettes. It can also help you enjoy food and become more aware of how designed chemicals alter your mood.”

Hezbollah saved Lebanon from the status of Non-Entity. I feel that Lebanon is no longer just a State recognized by the UN, but has acquired the status of a Nation; a tiny Nation but with the potential of agreeing that we are one people under the law and against all contingencies.

Either Lebanon eases its way to a unified modern State, with secular civil laws and equitable election laws, or we will end up with two drastic different groups:  The theocratic parties, representing the archaic current political structure, or the secular and democratic political parties representing the aspiration of the new generations.

For over four centuries, the same kind of rather whiter man, backed up by the same missionary monk, Landed around earth’s shores and ventured inland.

This whiter colonizer said what he thought and what his God said. A sort of a universal whiter civilization exploded and expanded. This new culture didn’t even try to explain

Because Arab “leaders” are standing in their way to allow them to help the people of Gaza? (Very funny opportunists when taking hold of social platforms). With friends like them who needs enemies?

No, Palestinians don’t need the help of mercenaries who kill Shia’s, Kurds, Christians, Yazidis and others. Actually, ISIS has brutally killed and massacred far more Sunnis than all other religious minorities combined, in internal battles among factions for control of power and interest monopoly.

Haavara Agreement? Hitler backed the Zionist Transfer to Palestine

Hitler wanted the Jews to immigrate to Palestine or anywhere else and encouraged the transfer since 1935.
His condition was that Zionism would give preference trade with Germany. Zionism didn’t deliver on the agreement.

The rich German Jews had money transfer and investment most in their mind.

Netanyahu’s holocaust comments: A sample of Tweets that perfectly mock his lucubration

Everyone was royally angered by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s comments regarding the Holocaust this week.

Netanyahu said: Hitler didn’t intend to exterminate the Jews but to expel them from Germany. It is  Haj Amin al-Husseini of Jerusalem that convinced Hitler that the best solution for the is to Jews problem is to kill them

Kind the Palestinians Never existed, but a single one survived to converse with Hitler to the utter detriment of the Jews.

Although there is virtually no confusion in the world about whose responsibility the holocaust was, Netanyahu took it upon himself to create a controversial alternative pinning blame on the former Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin al-Husseini.

Twitter quickly exploded with people around the world, including users within Israel, criticizing and mocking the inaccurate and highly offensive interpretation of history, which plays into Netanyahu’s goal of discrediting Palestinians entirely.

“Hitler was thinking of going vegetarian, but after talking with the Mufti he said he might as well go vegan. ‪#‎themuftichangedmymind‬

1. There was that Tweeter who pointed out how pathetically Netanyahu sounded like an internet troll.

2. And then there was the moment when Hitler found out the mufti got the credit

3. Because you know, everyone was just waiting for the mufti to show up

4. And now that the mufti arrived, everyone has the perfect excuse for arriving late.

5. Or staying up too late.

6. It seems like the mufti has even been meddling with people’s favorite sports teams!

7. But really, this mufti seems to have had A LOT of influence on Hitler.

8. Like way too much influence, apparently.

9. But could it have been more than just friendly influence??

10. But wait, maybe it wasn’t the mufti – or Hitler – after all.

11. But the “Back to the Future” theory hasn’t stopped people from listening to the mufti’s advice.

12. Even God may have possibly fallen under the influence. Yikes!

13. And now we all know the real reason why Joe Biden decided not to run for president in the United States.

14. The mufti may also have been at least partially responsible for the Sept. 11 attacks in New York.

15. But wait, would the mufti even know who Netanyahu is?

16. And if Hitler could comment, would his reaction be like this?

17. Or maybe something like this?

18. But in all seriousness Netanyahu, what do you actually mean?

19. Because sorry, but you can’t have your cake and eat it too, as they say.

Note 1: Zionism struck a deal with Hitler. Germany facilitates the immigration of its Jews and those in the central Europe to Palestine and in return the Zionists will import German goods and services. Most probably England denied the Zionists in Palestine to purchase goods from Germany and Hitler lost all illusions concerning any deals with the Jews.

Note 2: The Jewish Bund demanded the sanctioning of Germany goods and services. The Zionist movement opposed this move and even encouraged the USA to increase its trade with Nazi Germany.

Note 3: Nazi Germany considered the status of Arabs just after the Jews. Stupid Netanyahu.

Great Fright and miseries of Germans:

During preparation of Hitler’s war of expansion and ethnic cleansing

Berthold Brecht published a collection of short stories in the form of short play scenes between 1935-38 in several dailies outside Germany recounting the plight, fright and miseries of the population during the Nazi preparation for wars of expansion and ethnic cleaning.

Everything was geared for military preparation at the expense of decent daily living: more engine, more airplanes, more tanks

The German people suffered a lot and were reduced to almost famine conditions and perpetual fear of being detained during the night for reasons unknown to them.

Concentration camps for Germans mushroomed and torture was a daily staple throughout the land and nobody knew what was the daily order of this regime or its plans.

These are a few of the introductions to each piece:

There are the widows and orphans: To them promises are made for better days. First, they have to sacrifice and pay the taxes. Meanwhile, the price of meat is unreachable. Better days are not for tomorrow.

Working for meals and a pair of old boots is not so bad. I want to learn how to get paid for my works: I already learned what it is to work since I was 14.

He was freed from the concentration camp for re-education. His friends and his wife are terribly worried: did he talk? He was tortured all day long. At night, he was very quiet. Did he talk?

Those who informed on you are not sleeping well. It is not over yet: Each night is not the last one.

You see the guards of the camps for the German people who exhibited semi-reluctance to total loyalty to the Hitler. Those guards who are reduced to torture and oppress their citizens for a salary of misers.

The judges are ordered: “What is useful to the German people is the Just alternative verdict

How could the judges know what is useful to the German people? Nobody knew what the Nazi regime actually wanted or thought was good. And the judges had to exercise justice till all the people are incarcerated in order to safeguard their jobs.

And the surgeons and physicians, paid by the piece, have no alternative but to do patch up jobs on the victims that the torturers and executioners expedited to them.

And the scientists are to be contented with inexact physics theories, as long the sources and origin of the theories are typically Aryan.

If you are from the working class, your only right is to say thanks for whatever job they extended to you, and then pay your tribute of blood and sweat for the machinery of war.

And the troops got moving. No one said No. All of you are to keep your silence. Anyone dared say “This is not our war?”

Every students should be transformed into a potential informer. Teaching is based on this slogan:

Who can say something on his neighbour? Every child must become a hero and dare bring the torturer home to arrest one of his parents, traitor to Hitler, for unkind reasonable remarks and comments.

The peasant needs to feed his pig to prevent his squealing. Feeding famished pigs is against the law: All milk and cereals are to feed the soldiers and military apparatus.

The propagandist Goebbels-type give voice to the people: Between the micro and the tongue, they show their claws and fangs.

No bread, no milk, no butter. And it is cold and the voter is hungry. Yet, he is hurrying to vote for the Fuhrer.

It is easier for the kid to die: They fear more that the teacher blame them for cowardice.

Leaders said on the bravery of Syrian people…

For invaders of Syria and occupiers of its lands:

The founder of Saudi Arabia monarchy, King Abdul Aziz Al Saud said:

“Syria does not need men. Syria’s men are the most steadfast…”

Fidel Castro said:

“The French are fools: They occupied a country with people who never lose patience and never weaken…”

Dictator Saddam Hussein of Iraq: “In every Syrian blood drop is born a Mujahed

Kissinger said: “There will never be found a more courageous, hardworking, and steadfast men outside of Syria…”

Hitler said: “Give me a Syrian soldier with a German weapon and I will let Europe crawl on its fingers…”

The bloody Omayyad governor of Basra, Al Hajaj bin Youssef said:

“Never be tempted to believe that the people in Syria (Ahel Al Sham) are patient or weakly: If they support you they will make you king, and if they revolt against you they end up chopping your head… Be warned of three:

1.”Stay clear from the Syrian women: they’ll eat you as a lioness devours its victims

2. Never try to invade their land: The rocks of its mountains will fight you

3. Don’t obstruct their religion, otherwise they’ll burn your worldly wealth

The French philosopher Ernest Renan said: “I have two nations. Syria is my motherland”

Note 1: Since antiquity, almost all war-type empires invaded Syria. Due to its topography, it is easy to invade inland Syria via the plains, but the mountainous regions have been spared, where minority sects have taken refuge from frequent persecutions. It is easy to invade Syria, but in order to retain it, all invaders were forced to give the people self-autonomy.

Note 2: The Crusaders never attempted to occupy any city in inland Syria: They were satisfied with the coastal cities.

Note 3: The Arab armies that vanquished Byzantium and the Persian Sassanian empires were mostly composed of Syrian soldiers. During the Omayyad dynasty, with Damascus as Capital, the Arabic empire expanded all the way to north Africa.

Note 4: It is when the Capital was moved to Baghdad during the Abbasid dynasty that the Arabic empire started its decline by relying on other nations soldiers. It was no longer an Arabic empire, but a Moslem empire. The saying that “Syria is the heart of the Arab world” should be taken very literally.

Note 5: It is Syria educated and urban people who started the cultural trend in the Arabic empire and developed the Arabic language to become the language of sciences, math and medicine.

Note 6: It is the Syrian support for the Caliphs that defeated the frequent minority revolts against the central power, regardless of the location of the capital of the Arabic empire

Note 7: Israel knows that it’s main nemesis is the Syrian people. As long as the Syrians regard Israel as a foreign implanted State, Israel has no chance to survive.

Who may be taken down Assad or Obama? The consequences of Syria Chemical weapon climate of anxieties…

Do you think a few of the major players, among Presidents, Prime Ministers, UN inspectors, a few head of intelligence services… will pay the price for this extended game of keeping the world community on its toes?

Is the premature US president’s handling of the Syria crisis and its bad timing of any effects on his ultimate downfall?

So far, Russia pulled the Joker card that satisfies all parties, except those who wants Syria destroyed, completely ruined, desolate for decades and divided.

The USA, Russia and China have reached an agreement on the dominion partition of this region.

Ridding the Middle East of all chemical and biological weapon factories and depots is a must. And this policy should apply to Israel, especially Israel that master the modern techniques for biological warfare.

Dear Mr Assad,

This letter is to inform you that some time in the next two weeks, you will be the subject of a focused, limited and narrow attack by US cruise missiles in response to your recent alleged use of chemical weapons on your own people without our permission.

Here are some helpful hints to help you get through this uncomfortable episode:
1- Send the wives and kids of senior government personnel to Beirut and Paris for a shopping holiday.
2- Remove any chemical weapons from the map I have conveniently appended to this letter of potential bombing locations.
3- Move in political prisoners to use as human shields and ensure maximum collateral damage and thus publicity value when we do bomb.
4- Loudly declare your willingness to attend a UN-sponsored peace conference “under fair conditions“, but don’t lay them out in any detail. Skype call Bibi (Israel PM) if you have any questions on how to do this. The Israelis are the world experts in this field.
5- Point out to anyone who will listen that, while there’s no proof that you were responsible for this attack (even though we both know you did it), the US knowingly provided Saddam Hussein with intelligence while he gassed Iranian soldiers during the Iran-Iraq War, and we’ve not even so much as offered an apology to Iran, never mind to Iraq for the hundreds of thousands of people we killed in a generation of sanctions, invasions and occupation.
6- Tell your broker in Beirut to buy stock in Raytheon before the attack is launched; the price is climbing quite nicely as we approach bomb date and there’s no reason you shouldn’t earn a little something for your trouble.

Hoping the events of the next few weeks aren’t too unpleasant,

Sincerely, Barack Obama

Simply put, the entire process by which the president has tried to steer the US towards a bombing campaign reveals such a shocking display of political and diplomatic incompetence – one of the greatest in US history – that he couldn’t have done more to aid the Assad regime if he tried.

Unable even to conceive over 3 years of actually using the full weight of the UN for the purposes it was intended – to stop war – or to lay a proper groundwork for the use of force against Syria when it inevitably crossed the “red line” of large-scale chemical weapon use, the Obama administration, which clearly hasn’t wanted any part of military action in Syria, has allowed itself to get behind a ridiculous plan of action that is allowing the likes of Assad’s son and Russian President Putin to taunt him like a schoolyard bully when no teachers are in sight.

The mess extends in several directions.

The first is the lack of willingness of the Whitehouse to make amends for the chemical weapons-based lies it deployed a decade ago to justify the invasion of Iraq, let alone its own large-scale use of weapons such as White Phosphorus and depleted uranium, the direct support provided to Saddam Hussein for his use of chemical weapons during the Iran-Iraq War – or the even more colossal impact of Washington’s use of Agent Orange and napalm in Vietnam.

Had Obama owned up for the American misdeeds of the past half century, the US might have a little credibility at the moment.

Instead, it’s as if he dusted off the script from 2002-03. Even if this time the script is true, it’s hard not to imagine Dick Cheney hiding somewhere in the Whitehouse attic pulling the strings.

Second, while the president talks about “international credibility” being on the line, his administration has done absolutely nothing to engage in serious reform of the UN – the legitimate embodiment of the international community – and particularly the Security Council, so that countries such as Russia or China could no longer veto action against murderers such as Assad.

The reason, of course, is that this would mean the UN could stop murderers and thieves such as Israelis Netanyahu and Peres, not to mention the US, Russia and China, from pursuing all the policies that routinely violate international law.

At the same time, Obama has done even less to support real democracy in the Arab world, instead strengthening the hands of dictators and despots the region over.

In this environment, there was really never any way the administration could offer the kind of help to the civil resistance in Syria that might have given them a fighting chance without moving to violence, an arena in which they could only be hopelessly outgunned in the current international environment.

Yet neither did it arm the secular opposition early on, when it could have made a difference and prevented the inevitable takeover of the resistance by amply funded extremist jihadis (of the Nusra Front).

As important, by allowing the UN to remain removed from the equation, Obama has given other great powers, in particular Russia, the ability to challenge the US directly, as Putin has indicated he would do, in response to any military action by the US.

If this wasn’t bad enough, not only does the president disregard international law by declaring his willingness to use force without a UN mandate, he also declares that he can use force without Congressional approval, but then goes and seeks it anyway.

These possibilities are all bad.

Either the US Congress becomes complicit in launching an attack that is a clear violation of international law, or the president winds up acting in complete isolation to the vast majority of the international community, the US political establishment, and the American people, who oppose the use of force by a wide margin.

What’s worse, in the hopes of appeasing critics at home and abroad, the president has promised to make the strikes narrowly focused and limited – that is, meaningless in practical terms.

If the president is looking only to degrade Syria’s chemical weapons capabilities, he’s given Assad so much time to prepare that no limited strike would accomplish that goal.

If he’s hoping, as his new ally Senator John McCain advocates, to use this opportunity to change the balance of power on the ground, a limited strike will be even more useless.

And if he strikes harder and longer than he said he would, he will look like a liar – and the Russians will no doubt come to the Syrians’ aid with deliveries of advanced weapons systems.

It’s worth noting that, during the 1967 war, it was the Soviet Union’s secret message to the US that it would become directly involved to protect its client regimes that led President Johnson to pull the Israelis back from conquering even more territory.

The US administration’s attempts to win the propaganda battle have been equally amateurish.

After beginning a unilateral move towards military action before it could be determined who was responsible for the attack, it did not release the evidence it says it has until after its main ally, Britain, had already seen its parliament vote against authorizing violence – plunging the “special” US-UK relationship into one of its deepest crises in decades.

When the administration does release evidence, it doesn’t in fact release any evidence – only a narrative about what the “secret” evidence shows, and assumes anyone will accept it at face value.

In the meantime, it once again delegitimizes the work of weapons inspectors, while engaging in a campaign of coordinated leaks about the evidence – rather than merely presenting such in the open – that so confuses and annoys the press corps.

This risible, almost Keystone Cops-esque attempt to manage information and public discourse on Syria has only strengthened another dictator and mass murderer, Russian President Putin (anyone remember the tens of thousands of deaths during the second Chechen War?), who can take the high road of calling for bringing everything to the UN or the G20 precisely because he knows he has the veto power to protect his allies, the Syrian regime.

If there was any silver lining to this absolute foreign policy disaster, it’s that the people of the United States and their British counterparts have apparently decided they will no longer back the use of force without a full and open debate. (This is a major victory to world peace: Seeking the debates in parliaments before any preemptive war)

But what good is this if the US government believes it can ignore its own citizens?

Key members of the Congressional establishment will back the government, despite widespread public opposition, on the claim that “American credibility” is at stake.

Perhaps the worst part of this whole diplomatic and political fiasco is that the loss of credibility and focus has allowed the one claim Obama has made that remains valid and of utmost importance – that normalising the use of chemical weapons would be an utter disaster for the world community and would wind up seeing it used with increasing frequency by governments, armed groups and terrorists – is left in a shambles.

If there’s one thing that’s certain, we’ll all be the worse off for ignoring chemical weapons use.

It’s hard to see how Obama’s attempt to intervene in the Syrian civil war can produce any kind of successful outcome from either the American or Syrian civilian perspective, if Assad is left still standing with nothing worse than a bloody nose.

And if events play out as it seems they will – a “narrow and limited strike” that rallies people around Assad and shifts focus away from his murderous campaign against his own people – Obama will have succeeded in making the situation even worse for the Syrians on whose behalf he is supposedly striking.

Truly, Syria could wind up being one of the worst foreign policy disasters in US history, destroying whatever shred of diplomatic credibility the Obama administration had left.

It’s almost enough to make one nostalgic for the days of Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld…

Note: The 5 principles of propaganda before launching a preemptive war:

1. Never mention any economic interests

2. Completely Forget history and geography: Your citizens should remain in a total blank on where your targeted enemy is located, and whether it had any long history of resistance to invaders and occupiers…

3. Demonize the opponent (club of evils). Just focus on the bad history of the enemy related to violent crimes against humanity…

4. Vehemently claim to defend the victims, the same ones that your bombs and missile will re-kill first in collateral damages”…

5. Monopolize the debate and prevent the opposing opinions
