Fraud Peace Prize denied plane entry in many European countries: Peres, ex-President of Israel

Sweden refuses Israeli president’s plane entry into its airspace

Swedish authorities refused on Sunday to allow the plane of Israeli President Shimon Peres to cross into its airspace en route to Norway, causing him to arrive late to his official reception.

When Stockholm refused the plane permission to cross, the pilots were forced into a holding pattern over the Baltic Sea for 20 minutes until they were rerouted via Denmark’s airspace.

Israel’s Haartez newspaper reported the ministry saying that Peres’s office had failed to follow the correct protocols, resulting in its intervention.

Peres’s office blamed Stockholm, while the Israeli Foreign Ministry pointed the finger at the President’s Office and the private airline company responsible for arranging the trip.

The ministry said that it should have been arranging the flight all along, but Peres’s office claimed that Sweden had approved it. The Swedish authorities said they had no knowledge of the flight.

However, Israel’s Shin Bet intelligence services verified that all permissions had been granted, but permission was later revoked for unknown reasons.

Israeli leader’s visit sparks protests in Norway

Associated Press

STAVANGER, Norway (AP) — Israeli President Shimon Peres was met by political anger and protests over his country’s policies in the occupied territories during a visit to Norway Monday.

The 90-year-old Peres, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994 for his role in trying to bring Israel and the Palestinians together in Norwegian-mediated peace talks known as the Oslo Accords (an accord that Peres consistently flaunted since then), is the first Israeli head of state to visit the country.

Norway’s King Harald, who plays a ceremonial role and is not part of the government, welcomed Peres to the royal palace on Monday as police dispersed demonstrators outside. More protests were planned by 24 organizations.

“When the government invites the Israeli president on a state visit, one can only ask what signal Norway wants to send,” said Kathrine Jensen, head of the Norwegian Palestine Committee. She demanded that the Norwegian government “condemn Israeli occupation policy and their human rights abuses.

Norwegian-Israeli relations have soured over the past decade as Norway’s left-leaning governments took a critical stance against Israel.

Unlike many western countries, Norway refused to classify Gaza’s Islamic Hamas rulers as terrorists, and the government’s rich oil fund has divested shares in companies accused of contributing to building Israeli homes in the West Bank.

Peres, who as foreign minister shared the peace prize in 1994 with the late Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, appeared unfazed by the protests.

He told reporters after meeting King Harald that he enjoyed visiting Norway, which he described as “a pearl of humanity.”

Despite the recent collapse of U.S.-backed Mideast peace talks, Peres said the chance for peace has not been lost.

“Neither we nor the Palestinians have any other alternative but peace,” Norwegian broadcaster NRK quoted Peres as saying in a speech at an Oslo synagogue.

Note: Shimon Peres held government posts since 1950 and contributed in convincing the French government to built a nuclear reactor in Israel in 1965 and atomic bombs.

He was the prime minister when Israel launched the operation Grapes of Wrath on Lebanon in 1996 and bombed the UN compound in Qana where refugees flocked in.

Shimon Peres is the number one responsible for the mass humiliation and massacres of the Palestinians since the creation of the State of Israel, and yet was awarded a fraudulent Nobel Peace Prize

Opening bottles of champagne. Celebrating election victory of your occupier?

John Kerry mission after frequent shuffling trips between Netanahyu and Mahmoud Abbass is at a dead end.
What the US expected to offer the Palestinians?
They are pressuring the Palestinians to recognize the pure Jewishness of Israel, and the resident Palestinians to be de-facto second class by law.
Israel has already made Jerusalem a Jewish city
Israel refuses the UN declaration the Palestinians rights to return to their hometowns
Israel wants to maintain its settlements in the Jordan Valley, separating the West bank from Jordan
Israel is intent on keeping its hundreds of check points in the West Bank…
The Wall of Shame is still standing against the order of the La Hague International Court to dismantle it
What cards remain in the hands of the Palestinian Authority to negotiate with?
Mahmoud Abbas (current President of the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank) and Ibrahim Souss (former Palestinian Fateh faction representative in Paris, and later assassinated by Israeli agents) used to celebrate the election victories of the Israeli Labor party by opening champagne bottles in most of its official offices around the world.
(Apparently, the Oslo agreement between Arafat and Rabin required these kinds of celebration? Apart from protecting Israel from Palestinian rights to resist?)
A few Palestinian leaders believed that it was adequate to differentiate among the Israeli political parties who all refuse the Palestinians their UN rights to return to their homeland.
These confused Palestinian leaders feel so impotent that they are relying on the Israeli voters to redress justice and offer potential solutions to the Palestinian indignities and sufferings.
It was no longer the legitimate fight against this occupying force and its apartheid system that was on the table, but the reliance on the Israeli voters.
And thus, the Palestinian Authority tried to distinguish between Ariel Sharon and the other Labor leaders. The terrorist activities of the Zionist movement started in 1929 and never abated.
The war crimes of Ariel Sharon are no less terrible than the crimes committed by Isaac Rabin, Shimon Peres and Golda Meir. (Asaad Bu Khalil angryarab.blogspot.com)
Menahim Begin boasted in his autobiography “Uprising” that their terrorists acts quickened the transfer of the Palestinians from their homes and villages.
The same idea and methods were adopted by Sharon and he executed them every time he led incursions into Palestinian villages. For example, he slaughtered the people in the village of Qabiyeh (under Jordanian authority) in reprisal of a supposed “terrorist attacks” in 1957.

Stephen Hawking boycott conference in Israel, and hosted by Israel 90 year-old president Shimon Peres. In protest at treatment of Palestinians

I consider Professor Stephen Hawking the ultimate mental achievement of mankind. A total paraplegic who managed to communicate his complex ideas and theories by very convoluted and hard time consuming language methods. That is the spirit of determined persons. And Hawkins never forget that racism and discrimination should be banished from civilization.

Professor Stephen Hawking is backing the academic boycott of Israel by pulling out of a conference hosted by Israeli president Shimon Peres in Jerusalem as a protest at Israel’s treatment of Palestinians.

Stephen Hawking fine tuned the theory of the Big Bang and developed the notion of the Black Holes…

Hawking, 71, the world-renowned theoretical physicist and former Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, had accepted an invitation to headline the fifth annual president’s conference, Facing Tomorrow, in June, which features major international personalities, attracts thousands of participants and this year will celebrate Peres’s 90th birthday.

Hawking is in very poor health. Last week, he wrote a brief letter to the Israeli president to say he had changed his mind. He has not announced his decision publicly, but a statement published by the British Committee for the Universities of Palestine with Hawking’s approval described it as “his independent decision to respect the boycott, based upon his knowledge of Palestine, and on the unanimous advice of his own academic contacts there”.

Hawking’s decision marks another victory in the campaign for boycott, divestment and sanctions targeting Israeli academic institutions.

In April, the Teachers’ Union of Ireland became the first lecturers’ association in Europe to call for an academic boycott of Israel, and in the United States members of the Association for Asian American Studies voted to support a boycott, the first national academic group to do so.

In the four weeks since Hawking’s participation in the Jerusalem event was announced, he has been bombarded with messages from Britain and abroad as part of an intense campaign by boycott supporters trying to persuade him to change his mind.

In the end, Hawking told friends, he decided to follow the advice of Palestinian colleagues who unanimously agreed that he should not attend.

Hawking’s decision met with abusive responses on Facebook, with many commentators focusing on his physical condition, and some accusing him of antisemitism.

By participating in the boycott, Hawking joins a small but growing list of British personalities who have turned down invitations to visit Israel, including Elvis Costello, Roger Waters, Brian Eno, Annie Lennox and Mike Leigh.

Israeli occupation forces has detained around 9,500 Palestinian minors since 2000.

Many artists, writers and academics have defied and even denounced the boycott, calling it ineffective and selective. Ian McEwan, who was awarded the Jerusalem Prize in 2011, responded to critics by saying: “If I only went to countries that I approve of, I probably would never get out of bed … It’s not great if everyone stops talking.” (What if Israel refuses to talk peace with Palestinians?)

Noam Chomsky, a prominent supporter of the Palestinian cause, has said that he supports the “boycott and divestment of firms that are carrying out operations in the occupied territories” but that a general boycott of Israel is “a gift to Israeli hardliners and their American supporters”.

Hawking has visited Israel four times in the past.

In 2006, he delivered public lectures at Israeli and Palestinian universities as the guest of the British embassy in Tel Aviv. At the time, he said he was “looking forward to coming out to Israel and the Palestinian territories and excited about meeting both Israeli and Palestinian scientists”.

Since then, his attitude to Israel appears to have hardened.

In 2009, Hawking denounced Israel’s three-week attack on Gaza, telling Riz Khan on Al-Jazeera that Israel’s response to rocket fire from Gaza was “plain out of proportion … The situation is like that of South Africa before 1990 and cannot continue.”

Israel Maimon, chairman of the presidential conference said: “This decision is outrageous and wrong.

“The use of an academic boycott against Israel is outrageous and improper, particularly for those to whom the spirit of liberty is the basis of the human and academic mission. Israel is a democracy in which everyone can express their opinion, whatever it may be. A boycott decision is incompatible with open democratic discourse.”

In 2011, the Israeli parliament passed a law making a boycott call by an individual or organisation a civil offence which can result in compensation liable to be paid regardless of actual damage caused.

The law defined a boycott as “deliberately avoiding economic, cultural or academic ties with another person or another factor only because of his ties with the State of Israel, one of its institutions or an area under its control, in such a way that may cause economic, cultural or academic damage”.

What is this fuss, and who is this Nobel Peace Prize winner Liu Xiaobo?

How many of you cared to remember a name like Liu Xiaobo?

How many of you ever read any translated work of Liu Xiaobo?

How many Chinese ever read an article of Liu Xiaobo?

Does it make any difference if Liu Xiaobo was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize in 2010?

What if a few multinational news media decided to label Liu Xiaobo an icon for freedom, simply because he was jailed for a few months?

What if Archbishop Desmond Tutu (awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 for his work fighting the racist Apartheid system in South Africa) is circulating a petition for the release of Liu Xiaobo?

Liu Xiaobo  was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2010 for his “long and non-violent struggle for fundamental human rights“.

Today, Liu Xiaobo remains in jail, as China’s most famous political prisoner.

Xiaobo is serving an 11-year term for his activism demanding that the Chinese government make his country more democratic and make its courts more independent.

His wife, who has never been convicted of any crime, is under house arrest. This is not just.

Before signing any petition, I want to be clear on:

1. Did Xiaobo visited the sweat shop factories and communicated with the modern slaves?

2. Did Xiaobo talked in person with the university chairmen who are pressuring graduate students to work for Foxcom as slaves a couple of days and nights per week?(These slave factories manufacturing Apple iPhone and other products for US multinational companies)

3. Did Xiaobo got engaged on the field and lead activists to demonstrate against infamy and indignities?

It worth that people asking to sign on petition to “enlighten” readers on the field work and engagement of the “hero” so that we learn what it takes to receive a peace award…

Archbishop Desmond Tutu wrote: I am humbled to share the Nobel legacy with someone so brave as Xiaobo. Today, with more than 130 other Nobel Prize winners, I am calling on the new Chinese leader, Xi Jinping, to release Liu Xiaobo from prison and his wife, Xia, from house arrest.

This is a historic moment in China.

Every 10 years, the Chinese government hands over power to a new generation of leadership. As of a few weeks ago, Xi Jinping has succeeded his predecessor, Hu Jintao, in leading China — and hopes are that he will open China to reform more than any of his predecessors.

The Chinese government doesn’t usually listen to voices from outside the country. (Or voices from within the country, for that matter!) But the world has a singular opportunity to push for change when China’s leadership changes over every 10 years.

This is our chance! Humans are wonderful, and we can do amazing things when we act together.

I have seen this time and time again with my own eyes.

Click here to sign my petition now, and call on China’s new Premier Xi Jinping to release Nobel Peace Prizer winner Liu Xiaobo and his wife Liu Xia.

Note: Do you know that Oslo (Norway) extends only the Nobel peace prize, while Stockholm (Sweden) selects all the other Nobel prizes?

And yet, Oslo was doing a terrible job in its selection for this single prize. For example:

1. Oslo voted for a newly elected president (Obama) before witnessing any peaceful achievement.  Obama is still assassinating people using drones, and adopting double tap tactics in order to kill those coming to rescue the injured and killed from the first missile attack, and Obama has been at it for four years now, hundreds of those drone attacks, killing hundred (90% being civilians)

2. Oslo awarded master terrorist late Israeli PM, Menahim Begin, the peace prize. Begin even managed to terrorize his masters the British colonial mandated power in Palestine and committed genocide on scores of Palestinian villages… And achieved his “peaceful activities” by committing the genocide in the Palestinian camps of Sabra and Shatila in Lebanon 1982.

3. Oslo awarded Shimon Peres the same prize. Peres is the current president of Israel and who launched a preemptive war on Lebanon in 1996,  just after receiving the award and bombed a UN compound in Qana (south Lebanon), killing 100 civilians who came for refuge. This “diplomat” dotted Israel with nuclear weapons from France in the 60’s.
